Dancing With The Stars Ingo Rademacher On His Strengths And Weaknesses

Ingo Rademacher talks “Jax to Jive” with XFinity. He won’t say if he and Kym can win Dancing With The Stars, but, he’s fit and has some rhythm and more…

Will being a physically strong guy help you in the competition?
That’s a good thing and maybe [also] staying in rhythm. Rhythm, I can kind of do, the beat, but then, doing all the changes and stuff kind of worries me.

Is there a chance you could come back to “GH” now that you’re back in L.A.?
Yeah, absolutely. I would love to. I’m always open to coming back, for short periods. We did that last year, so yeah. [And according to recent reports, it’s now a done deal!]

Even athletes have been injured on “DWTS.” Do you fear that?
Yes. Definitely. I don’t really get injured that much and a couple of days ago in rehearsal, we were doing some lifts and practicing some pretty cool stuff but a few years ago, I would have been like, “let’s do this one!” This time I went, “let’s put this off a few days” because my legs were getting really sore from doing all the lunging. Also, I’m trying to show Kym what my flexibility is and what I can do with my feet and how far I can stretch and lunge and kick.

Do you think you can win?
I can’t say that [but] it would be great. We gotta take it week by week and see where it goes. I’m really excited to get out there. I want to get the first Monday night [performance] over with already!

Be Sure To Watch GMA Every Day Next Week, Another Rumor On DWTS Sean Lowe Addition

Hey, just some media alerts!!! Be watching GMA every day next week. Each day a celebrity is suppose to be interviewed about Dancing With The Stars counting down to the show’s two-hour season premiere on March 18th.

Also, one of our readers named Angela is reporting that she saw a video posted last night at “The Bachelor” Facebook page with Sean Lowe and a “behind the scenes” look of the Dancing With The Stars title shoot. In the video, Sean commented about “how he was excited and has his work cut out for him”. Then 5 minutes later, Angela went to refresh the page and the video had been deleted and replaced with a sneak peek of the finale of The Bachelor. Angela says the video with Sean was about 4 minutes long and showed parts with Pitbull. All the pros and stars were also talking.

Anyway, we aren’t sure what to think at this time, but, add this info to the heavily rumored 12th contestant announcement. Also note that Tuesday morning Sean Lowe is scheduled to make a guest appearance on GMA. Most likely he will be interviewed about the “The Bachelor” finale, but, it could have something to do with Dancing With The Stars as well? He also has a teleconference planned for Tuesday. So, stay tuned. 😉

ADDING: Codebear2 dmed us at twitter (and I think Court mentioned this too in one of her comments) that they could also announce that Sean Lowe is dancing on Dancing With The Stars on Monday night during The Bachelor – After The Final Rose. This would also make the best sense if they want to pull in fans of The Bachelor.

Andy Dick On DWTS: “I want to let America to see the real me and rediscover it for myself”

Andy Dick tells XFinity he is so excited to dance on Dancing With The Stars this season. He also talks of why he decided to dance and what helped him to defeat drinking. He also says he has the best partner in Sharna Burgess….she will be his “strength”. His kids will also be in the audience to help support him every week. Lots more at the link and below. Another great interview!!

What other skills will you bring to “DWTS”?
My strength in the dancing category is literally Sharna. Sharna is an amazing dancer and also, she’s one of the choreographers on the show and so, I know the man is supposed to lead in the dancing, but right now I’m leaning all on her!

How would you describe the controversies in your life?
Horrible. That’s just not me. I want to let America to see the real me — and rediscover it for myself.

What changed in your life the past couple of years that made you ready for this?
I don’t know, but I do know I’ve been struggling ever since I picked up a drink and then life got super hard in my 20s, especially my late 20s, when a lot of my friends started dying and then my go-to thing was alcohol. It’s either you keep drinking and die, or you stop, and I’ve been stopping over and over and over for awhile, and I’m done with that. I’m 47 years old; pardon the expression, but it’s time to crap or get off the pot. Let’s do this.

Are you concerned about the physical challenges of “DWTS”?
That’s why I have Sharna. Sharna keeps saying, “Balance, Andy, balance,” and they don’t let us rehearse for more than five hours during the first week, which is great, because I’m very excessive. It came into play when I was drinking, and now I don’t want to overdo it and rip something because then you’re out of the game. You can’t do any waltz with crutches. Have they done that?

Will your kids be in your rooting section?
I have a 24-year-old son, an 18-year-old son, and a 15-year-old daughter. They will be there for every show. We’re very close!

Victor Ortiz Says Lindsay Arnold Has Been Killing Him In Rehearsals For Dancing With The Stars

KXL FM chatted with Victor Ortiz to discuss his boxing career and his upcoming appearance on Dancing With The Stars. Victor talks of when the show first approached him to dance. He also talks of how there is no comparison between boxing and dancing. Here is more, but, be sure to see the link for more.

Ortiz may be appearing on the 16th season of DWTS, but he’s known about the show since his friend Mario Lopez was featured in the inaugural season. The former WBC champion also revealed that he was actually approached about appearing on the show after his fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2011, but had to decline after joining several training camps that ran consecutively. Eventually, after having his jaw broken and deciding to not fight for an extended time to aid the healing process, Ortiz was able to get casted for the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars. When asked if his footwork training for boxing helped him at all with his dance steps, Ortiz revealed that there was no comparison.

“Boxing absolutely has no comparison and hasn’t helped me one bit in dance,” said Ortiz. “So I guess all the rehearsals and everything – they’re going to have to pay off because Lindsay has been killing me.”

Looks like his hard work might be paying off? Some of his lines look fantastic.
