DWTS Season 16 – Andy Dick’s TV Reunion
According to OTRC, DWTS is giving Andy Dick a TV reunion with the cast of his old show, Less Than Perfect:
Sara Rue, Zachary Levi and other actors who starred on the comedy series “Less Than Perfect” are set to reunite on the ABC ballroom dancing show on Monday, March 25, to support fellow sitcom alum and contestant Andy Dick, OTRC.com has learned exclusively.
This will marking the first full cast reunion since the sitcom ended its four-season run in 2006. Dick played Owen Kronsky, Claude’s friend and co-worker. Check out a full list of “Less Than Perfect” alumni who will attend the reunion:
Sara Rue — she played Claude, who starts out working as an assistant in a TV newsroom, on “Less Than Perfect.” She currently plays Kim on the new Reba McEntire sitcom “Malibu Country,” which also airs on ABC.
Sherri Shepherd was also on that show, so you can expect to see her back in the ballroom as well, along with Eric Roberts.
Vogue ADDING: In other things on Andy. Don’t miss Sharna on Afterbuzz this week. They discuss Andy, the judges, the other contestants and lots more. Thanks to Butterflywhirl for the heads up!
Watched this couple of days ago. Sharna is great! 🙂
Sharna doesn’t hold back does she? She seems like a female Maks.
Thanks for adding this!! I love Sharna and I think she will be a great addition to the cast in future seasons.
i’m really enjoying Sharna, agree with all that she’s a wonderful addition to the show and can see her being around for quite a while.
Finally got through AfterBuzz, and I must say everytime I see Sharna, I’m more impressed. She’s open and honest without being ugly about it. If TPTB have any brains (which is always debatable), they’ll hang onto her with both hands. She’s a keeper!
Thanks for the video! I started watching AfterBuzz during last season and I’m looking forward to watching it this season too. I think that Sharna and Andy are great together and I hope that they’ll make it far. I liked that she said a lot of things that we as viewers might think about the show that other pros might be too afraid to say. I agree with Cidra. She’s honest without being nasty. She’s just saying it how it is.
Thanks, Vogue! I started watching AfterBuzz the season Maria was on and I love it. Sharna was impressive and honest! I like that!
I only listened to the audio so I didn’t see body language, and it was a few days ago so I may not remember it completely, also I like Sharna but I think she walked a fine line and sometimes maybe crossed over, not ugly but maybe some “truths” shouldn’t always be said in some situations. Mark is her colleague and she didn’t pull any punches about that dress he put Aly in, that’s one example, I think there are other times when her fellow pros might have reason to feel hit. Do they each go on and say strong things against another? Could get pretty ugly. My opinion is that the pros and celebs should leave the public constructive criticism to outsiders even if it makes it more interesting to get “the real scoop”. If I do get time to watch it vs just listen and my impressions weren’t correct I’ll gladly eat crow because I was a little disappointed and I really want to like her.
I’m liking Sharna more and more. I don’t mind her expressing opinions over Aly’s dress, even though I disagree with the “impropriate” comment. The only instance when I thought “is she crossing the line” was when she commented how Andy’s score should have been higher compared to Lisa’s and Sean’s. The comparison game is a dangerous game to play. You can get caught up in it and loose your focus. I hope that doesn’t happen to her, I do like her.
What I heard ( and saw) Sharna say about Amy’s dress was that she didn’t know why she was wearing it. She didn’t know if Mark was too busy to do it this week and had no input or whether Amy really liked the concept and maybe Mark couldn’t get her to change her mind. I actually thought she was very careful not to step on the other pros’ toes. When they talked about Cheryl dancing around DL., she said she would have done the exact same thing. She mentioned that they didn’t have a lot of practice time (DL). She didn’t know whether it was because he had so many gigs to do or what. She was very complimentary to Lisa and Gleb – said their dress rehearsal was brilliant, etc. She was honest about things, including the fact that she thought Andy should have gotten a bit higher score for using a prop the first week, etc. Very honest and factual for the most part. 🙂
I did have a chance to watch half and I wish I hadn’t written my earlier comment. Being able to see all the body language and having an easier time tracking who was saying what, I agree that she built up her fellow pros and any more negative comment she made was always qualified…So here’s me happily eating crow.
IMHO Sharna was just saying what most people were thinking re: Aly’s dress and judges watching dress rehearsal. Although Aly said she loved the pink outfit and also has said she loves this next outfit, so as long as she’s happy and feels good, to Mark, that’s all that matters.
Thank you so much for providing this as I have never watched After Buzz, but definitely will from now on. I loved Sharna!!! After watching her perform with Andy the first week and the way she was with him in their package I just liked her and wanted to know more about her. I thought she was great on this show and agree completely with Cidra that “if TPTB have any brains (which is always debatable), they’ll hang onto her with both hands. She’s a keeper!” Thanks Cidra for saying exactly how I feel. 🙂
