Sean Lowe Talks About The Bachelor And Dancing With The Stars On Jimmy Kimmel
Last night, Sean Lowe and Jimmy Kimmel talked about “all things The Bachelor” on Jimmy’s show last night. Surprisingly, Sean and his soon to be bride have still not broken up. If you are interested in that subject, listen to the first video. If not and you’d rather hear what Sean says about Dancing With The Stars, see the 2nd video. Jimmy gives Sean a hard time about some of the “goofy” rehearsal pictures he’s seen in with Peta and more.
If I can’t say something nice…
LOL Jess. I know what you mean.
Thanks Vogue – I appreciate everything you do, but Honestly, I couldn’t even watch it.
If I could go by just looking at the freezeframe this is What I would think he was saying:
Sean: I’m not milking my 15 minutes of fame…. oh no not me!!
jK: And why would we think that?
Sean: Well, it was my three months of bachelorette, I waited slightly to sign more contracts, which then gave me enough time to have my teeth whitened and my abs shined and waxed … then when I was all nice and shiny I went into three straight months of bachelor, right into 2 months of DWTS, and then right into my $1 million dollar wedding…
jk: Of course, then you will ride off into the sunset, right?
Sean: Not quite, Then I will have to get my shiny self back on TV, so America can follow my new life as a married man, with everything including, our first purchase of a car together, our first puppy….
Sorry I couldn’t resist, I’ll be a good girl now. 🙂
LOL!!!!!!!!
I actually saw this earlier and thought OMG here we go again. For a guy who claimed to be uncomfortable in the beginning he sure is changing his tune. I hate to say it, but his fiancee seems okay with it too. I really wish he were not on this season. I am sick of him already. Guess I am bad and couldn’t do as you did Jess.
Sandy I just read what you wrote and all I can say is thanks for the laugh. 🙂
You got it perfectly!
Thanks everyone! 🙂
Sandy – too funny this is hilarious.
I did watch the Bachelor (one of my guilty pleasures) but doing this show (DWTS) to to much to soon. Go away.
Fabulous, Sandy. I couldn’t watch this, either, but thanks to you, I got a huge laugh out of it. 😛
I didn’t watch him on the Bachelorette, but did watch him on the Bachelor and enjoyed that “guilty pleasure” as someone else put it. But this is going beyond “pimping” IMO. Sure ABC wants to use Sean’s popularity to help boost DWTS ratings, but there is such a think as “too much of a good thing”. I honestly don’t think he and his fiance will last, so people may be spared the televised summer wedding. I do wish him well though, cause he does seem like a decent guy, but one who is definately making the most of all the media opportunities that are coming his way.
Guess I can’t blame Sean for trying to turn his 15 minutes of fame into 30. If it gets him to retirement sooner, more power to him (I’m working for retirement too). What bugs me is that ABC thinks they have to pimp him. Sure, sign him up for DWTS in the hope that his Batchelor fans will keep their DVRs tuned to ABC, but then let the chips fall where they may. Have faith that DWTS will engage their interest. Don’t prop him up if he can’t hack it on the dance floor.
Cidra I agree about both points: don’t prop him up, let the chips fall where they may; and can’t blame him for trying to extend his 15 minutes. But what I dislike is his not owning it. Didn’t Vanna White, about a hundred years ago say something like she didn’t mind people laughing at her and her job, she’d laugh along with them all the way to the bank.
I get that Sean really shouldn’t be “propped up” in the competition, but I do see also why TPTB do it: to protect their investment. I think they are essentially doing the same thing with the Maks situation. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, as they say. I for one have not been fond of Maks for some time, so it really was a smart decision to give him a break, especially one that he appeared to be eager to take. Keep the fans guessing if he will be back next season, in the hope it will generate more buzz and therefore more viewers.
Agree that ABC shouldn’t prop him as, IMO, he lacks charisma. So unless he can step up the dancing, propping may look artificial even to his fans and backfire in favor of more likeable celebs.
Agree also that he’ddd nnnn
whoops… Agree also he’d gain some credibility, maybe likeability as well, if he were upfront about exploiting his celebrity, preferably with a good sense of humor.
I watched both vids as I never saw him before Monday except on ads. Nuff said.
