Dancing With The Stars Season 16 Dancer Confessionals For Week 8
Jacoby is feeling defeated, but, Cheryl reminds him that Donald Driver had the same thing happen to him. Did anyone notice or care Kellie’s ear ring being ripped out? Fun as always!!
And thanks to @Jimmbboe always, here is the International version…
Cheryl clearly doesn’t remember Season 14. Which is weird because she was basically in love with her partner.
My very first thoughts watching this….
I’m very annoyed with Mark…. Especially in their Trio Confessional…. Loved Henry and his humor at the end.
Seeing Lindsay and Kym in their Trio Confessional, made me realize just HOW YOUNG is Lindsay!
Derek, Kellie and Tristan are hysterical together. Her southern drawl-Irish brogue definitely FAILED…..
Didn’t like seeing Jacoby looking so defeated.
Lori, I’m so glad you said you were annoyed with Mark. He annoyed me in the short confessional clip they showed on the results show. Aly shouldn’t have to apologize to her pro. When she did, he should tell her sincerely that it’s OK. I didn’t get that from him a all. Henry even gave him a “what’s the matter with you” look. I definitely want Henry as a pro next season. He’s a good teacher, and he behaved the way I expect pros to behave.
Derek, Kellie and Tristan were just too funny. That’s how classy people take being thrown under the bus for the sake of “reality drama”.
Poor Jacoby. Karina needs to sit him down and tell him the competition is all BS. He needs to set aside his competitive mindset, give TPTB a mental middle finger, and just enjoy dancing for the viewers.
Wow, Jacoby is so PO’d. I’m sure he’ll bounce back, though. Can’t wait to see their Lindy Hop although, knowing Len, he’ll probably say there is too much Jive in it! 😉 lol
Haha, Jimmbboe…you’re right Len might say that. Someone said that Len said once that he’d never give a jitterbug or lindyhop a 10. Anyone else hear that and know why he said it?
I think for Jacoby, he is really trying hard and sees he’s better than other gentlemen who would get 8s and 7s…can’t blame him. Can’t imagine what he’ll be like in rehearsals this week all steamed 🙂
Thanks for posting the confessionals…love them!
Sheery…I agree. While I don’t necessarily think his dances are 10 worthy, he’s gotta be wondering what gives! I like Aly, but she’s not that great of a dancer, yet she’s pulling 10s for her dancing. If she’s getting 10s then he should too!
Cidra…I agree with you as well. He needs to just forget about winning and have fun!
The only reason that I can see why Aly has been pulling 10s while Jacoby hasn’t, is that they’re being scored on different things.
Aly could be scored based on her improvement from week to week, while Jacoby could be scored based on what Len thinks he COULD be…
I know, it stinks, and everyone should be scored the same way, all the time. However, I think that would be impossible, because the show seems to go out of its way to be consistently inconsistent!
There is a problem, however, when their inconsistency can be predicted ahead of time!
“There is a problem, however, when their inconsistency can be predicted ahead of time!”
Lori, truer words have never been spoken. The strings have been showing for quite a while…now it’s getting a bit out of control.
Funny you should say that Lori. Carrie Ann is going to be on Andy cohens show watch what happens live tomorrow night, and he tweeted for followers to tweet him questions for her and his other guest, Natalie maines. I tweeted him to ask Carrie Ann why the judges are so inconsistent on dwts, doubt my question will get asked though, 😉
On a purely superficial note, all the girls costumes looked so much more gorgeous on the confessional than on the actual show.
I do like Aly and I do like Mark sometimes. I just don’t like them together. I think she would have been better off with Tristan or maybe Henry if they had promoted him.
Mark is hit or miss with me. I adored him with Kristy and with Shaun. Not so much with Chelsie or Katherine.
susan – gotta agree. Loved Mark with Kristy and Shaun. Haven’t liked him ever since and this season he blows. All ego, and there seems to be a mean quality to his teasing. I have no idea if Aly is brilliant or a crayon short, but she is coming off as a bit dim and annoying. I actually liked them better at the beginning when they were solid but quiet and forgettable.
I love how Tristan claimed the lucky number seven. too funny….
I gotta say I really missed “MY” show last week. (Did you hear that Maks it’s “MY” show!!). My mourning for the loss of Andy is subsiding… somewhat.
Now it’s time for me to get back on track Monday night. 🙂
It’s weird to see Jacoby so down and Ingo looking so much more laid back and going with the flow. It’s like they swapped attitudes or something.
Val is so right, Zen is definitely a 10.
rocky, it is unacceptable to post using different names on this website. Pick one and stick with it or you won’t post here again.
I guess I don’t understand the mean Mark comments. In the clips that are shown before the dances, Aly and Mark seem to be getting along very well. Aly is always saying after the dances how she is really having a great time on the show. If her partner was mean and they weren’t getting along, why would she say that?
Sandy, can’t speak for anyone else, of course, but in last week’s rehearsal vid, I felt a couple of Mark’s comments to Henry about Aly’s trouble getting the counts in the music got a little sharp. Then in the confessional he seemed a bit disappointed in her performance and not as supportive as he usually is. You can tell he wants that perfect score. That said, I think Mark and Aly *do* get along, have established a good partnership, and enjoy working together. Considering the pressure they’re all under, especially at this stage of the season, these two are very calm and steady.
