I just don’t get Val and Janel. That “heart to heart” is scripted obviously but by who? Is this a DWTS thing or Access Hollywood and why is he so personal, it is his effing job.
their attempt at a “showmance” is the worst i have ever seen. at least Meryl and Maks never sat there talking about kissing and stuff. their conversations actually seemed genuine and friendship like and production just cut it to make it seem showmancy- unlike Janel and Val who just seem to try and fake it- they give production exactly what they are looking for
OK agree – worst showmance attempt ever. I’ve been wondering why everyone was talking about them using a the showmance tactic and disliking them, because I didn’t really see it early on. Then the last couple weeks it’s all I see from them. And the worst part is, as Meghan said above, I dont’ see any romantic tension or chemistry between these 2 at all and wouldn’t for a second think of a showmance without the scripted awkward and blatant attempts at creating it – like this. Some showmances def work on me and draw me in, this one just blech.
If they are amping up the showman r we might as well have fun with it lol. Every time one of them does something that makes you wanna scream or makes you roll your eyes take a drink lmfao. That’s the new motto for me and my cousins tonight lmfao
