Rave Review Of The Dancing With The Stars Live Tour – The Niagara Falls Show

What a great review of the Dancing With The Stars Live Tour from WYN Papers. They posted pictures as well as raved on the show. Here’s a little take…

Seeing the professional dancers in person, rather than through the lens of biased highlights on a television show, their personalities and skill became more apparent than ever before.

A crowd favorite for his fun personality and enchanting good looks both on and off screen, Chmerkovskiy swooped a female audience member off her feet during one of his musical numbers. He played up his role as “shirtless man candy” from the show and helped everyone to have a great time.

Three of the female professional dancers, including Carson and Johnson, also selected members of the audience to dance with. Three gentlemen from the VIP section of the showroom enjoyed the spotlight, shimmying with some of America’s favorite dancers to Christina Aguilera’s “But I am a Good Girl,” assuredly making the night unforgettable.

The first performance of the “DWTS” live tour was not predictable, making it even more special. Chmerkovskiy and some of the other performers surprised the audience by proving their expertise was not limited to dance. He played the violin alongside Ballas, the season 19 runner-up, who joined on guitar.

To conclude the night, a freestyle rendition of DJ Snake and Lil John’s “Turn Down For What” and Pitbull’s “Fireball” was led by Ribeiro and Carson. The entire professional dance cast joined them.

The modern beats, ornate costumes and unbelievable skill transformed the first stop on the tour into anything but your typical dance program.

Amy Purdy Talks On “The Power Of Intention”, DWTS, Derek Hough, And More – New Exclusive Interview

I believe in the power of intention. This time last year I made the goal that I was going to get this book written by the end of the year. I told every person I know what my intentions were and it just so happens that my book comes out a day before the year ends! Amazing what happens when you set your mind on something. Going into this new year, make sure to make your intentions and goals clear, tell everyone you know, continue to put it into the Universe and see what happens! ~Amy Purdy at her Facebook December 30, 2014

Looking back, “2014” was a such a special year and wasn’t it even more special for what we shared with Amy Purdy and her journey on Dancing With The Stars. I learned that no matter what happens to us, we can fight back and do it with positivity and grace. Heidi and I were able to chat with Amy about it and her new book “On My Own Two Feet” which is released TODAY in book stores everywhere or you can order it at her website at www.amypurdy.com. Below is a take from the new interview which talks on Dancing With The Stars and Derek Hough. You can read more of our exclusive interview with Amy at Pure Derek Hough. THANK YOU, AMY!xx

So, do you talk about your life’s journey and Dancing With The Stars in your new book?

I do, absolutely! I felt it was a perfect way to sum up this long journey that I have been on .. from losing my legs at the age of 19 to where I stand today. The majority of the public know me from DWTS but don’t know the journey it took to get where I am today. This book is my memory of it.

How did you first find out that you’d be doing Dancing With The Stars? Also, when and how did you feel when you first found out you were paired up with Derek Hough? Was your first meeting with Derek one you won’t forget?

Last fall I was contacted by An executive producer of the show. At that time I had been in the media quite a bit over the years for different projects that I was involved in and with the upcoming Olympics and Paralympics many brands were supporting me and also promoting my story and athletic accomplishments. So, that’s how the producers found out about me. When I first spoke to the producers I thought ” am I crazy?!” ” is this even possible?!” But as nervous as I was I was curious enough to want to find out.

To be honest, I never really watched the show before. I have been so busy over the last few years that I rarely even sit down and watch tv! I remembered the few times flipping through the channels and seeing the show, but I didn’t really know who Derek was. I’m actually happy that I didn’t know the “Derek Hough” that the rest of the world seemed to be in love with, otherwise I may have been a bit more nervous! Although I didn’t know much of him going into the show I realized quickly that he was an absolute creative genius and I couldn’t have been more lucky to have him as my partner.

And to answer your question. Yes, that first moment meeting Derek and knowing that I was going to be on DWTS is a memory I will never forget! I remember thinking ” oh my gosh I can’t believe I’m really doing this!”

DWTS Karina Smirnoff Helps The Homeless In Los Angeles Over The Holidays – New Pics

This is so cool! I love when the pros reach out to those less fortunate or hurting!! If you head to the Daily Mail, you can see Karina Smirnoff in downtown Los Angeles, where she and a group of volunteers passed out jackets and blankets to the homeless. She looks so cute too in a hat, leggings, a big sweater, and military style boots. Good job, Karina!!
