Suzanne Somers Likes To Win And Plans To Give Dancing With The Stars 100%
Suzanne Somers talked with Fox11 about why she decided to dance on Dancing With The Stars. Not only was it try and stay viable, but, to show she’s healthy and fine to dance in her 60’s (wow, I didn’t realize she is 68! She looks fantastic!). She plans to give it 100%! More below…
“I thought what a privilege to have this opportunity to have a viewing audience of 15 million people every week,” she said. “Part of my job is to make sure I stay in front of the public eye, to stay viable.”
“My strength is I like to win and I always try 100 percent. I never do anything half-ass.”
Somers, who has previously written a book about replacing lost hormones, said although she’s in her 60s, she should do absolutely fine physically on “DWTS.”
“I have no bone loss, no brain loss, I have a lot of energy and a lot of strength,” she said. “My heart is perfect so I think I’m more ready than I would have been in my 20s, honest to God.”
Somers, who has often talked about her sex life with her husband, confirmed to FOX411 that dancing should work more wonders.
“It’s gotta be great for all those special muscles!” she winked.

You go Suzanne!! I really hope she lasts a long time (maybe even win the whole dang thing!). We’ll see… I wish her well…
I love Suzanne Somers and I’m happy she is doing the show. I think her being paired with Tony is the perfect choice for her.
I remember having a chance meeting with Suzanne Somers (at least I thought it was)… And as she was walking toward me very closely, I blurted out her name loudly in excitement. Only to realize very quickly that the person walking toward me was not Suzanne Somers… It was Sally Struthers (from All in the Family). Oops!
lol Sandy…I can see why you’d confuse Sally and Suzanne. They kind of look the same.
Speaking of Suzanne, the last time I was in Vegas (a few years ago), I saw her at a Donny and Marie show. She sat only a few tables away. She’s got a powerful presence and she was beautiful.
She’s so funny. I think she will be in the top 4.
Even though Suzanne is in her 60’s she has kept herself in good physical shape and has miles of personality and humor; so, I am thinking she won’t go home too soon, and may even surprise us. I loved her dingy blonde personalty she played on 3’s Company. She seems like a classy lady.
