PureDWTS 20 Week 2 Media And Interviews With The Couples After They Dance – Videos, Photos

What a great night of dancing! I’m still shocked and saddened Redfoo and Emma were eliminated so early. 🙁 I thought they were doing so well, but, I’m glad they went out with a bang. I’ll always remember Redfoo for the true “Showman” that he is. Thanks for dancing, Redfoo!!!

So, for starters today, let’s get the scores and placings:

Nastia Liukin and Derek Hough: 34/40
Willow Shields and Mark Ballas: 32/40
Riker Lynch and Allison Holker: 32/40
Rumer Willis and Val Chmerkovskiy: 32/40
Redfoo and Emma Slater: 31/40 (Eliminated)
Patti Labelle and Artem Chigvintsev: 28/40
Michael Sam and Peta Murgatroyd: 28/40
Robert Herjavec and Kym Johnson: 28/40
Suzanne Somers and Tony Dovolani: 28/40
Noah Galloway and Sharna Burgess: 27/40
Charlotte McKinney and Keo Motsepe: 26/40
Chris Soules and Witney Carson: 21/40

Below is a recap of the night with ABC7 in LA. Note how the couples are interviewed….

ABC7 also have some breathtaking photos at this link. The Daily Mail also has some cool photos and screen caps. Zimbio has some cool parking lot coverage as well.

E Online has some interviews. Be sure to see them at this link (I’d embed those but, I can’t get them to stop playing).

And here is JC Rubio with some Afterbuzz TV Interviews. He always asks some excellent questions. He does his homework. Great fan questions too….

How about some Access Hollywood interviews? I love how Noah’s eyes are twinkling with his girlfriend beside him!! “Everything started today when I saw her“. Adorable….

Keep checking back! We hope to get more media soon! – Vogue over and out! 😉 xx

ETA: Got Pap has some great coverage with some of the couples after the show.

ETA2: PopTVDotCom has some after show coverage too….

ETA3: Here is an Entertainment Tonight interview with Noah….

ETA4: People interviewed Kym and Robert about their relationship….

ETA5: You can read Carrie Ann Inaba’s new blog at Parade. She highlights these three couples this week….

Willow Shields and Mark Ballas

What a brilliant concept! If love is the thought in Mark’s incredible brain, he’s a genius as far as I’m concerned. The Argentine tango was given a cool context, which suited Willow’s youth and newfound intensity. The visual appeal of the performance highlighted the shapes and movement in the best
way possible! Bravo!

Michael Sam with Peta Murgatroyd

What a difference from last week to this week! Michael was outstanding in the Motown-inspired Foxtrot. I didn’t peg him for a Ballroom guy! But he shines brightly. It was like watching a completely different person perform this week. I’m excited to see what’s next!

Chris Soules and Witney Carson

The Bachelor star has charm, but this week was a setback for him. He didn’t really improve. In fact, he seemed to slip backward a bit. I think he needs to hone in on the details of each dance. These dances are driven by technique. Despite the fact that no one will ever completely master the art of Ballroom and Latin dancing in these few weeks, it is an important part of the growth of the performer. He also was off musically speaking as well. Bad technique, poor movement quality, along with bad musicality can only mean one thing…Lots of room for improvement! So keep your head high Chris and comeback strong!

ETA6: Extra interviewed some of the couples as well. I can’t get enough of Noah and his girlfriend.
