PureDWTS Exclusive Interview: Gleb Savchenko Talks On DWTS Russia, Dance Info For The Finals, A Special Message For Fans, & More
Hi All!! Gleb Savchencko was so gracious enough to take a time out from Dancing With The Stars Russia to answer a few questions. I was dying to know what he and partner Adelina Sotnikova felt in those moments when it was announced they were going to the finals this upcoming Saturday. Below he talks all about it. Plus, Gleb discusses choreographing and his favorite dances. He also tells us about he and Adelina’s new dances for the Finals too (Yay, I got my wish for a Paso Doble). Gleb also has a special message for you. Included below is also some footage from a new fashion shoot with his wife Elena Samodanova (*I think I just passed out and went to heaven*). Hi Gleb! It’s so great to speak with you again. Thanks so much for taking the time to answer a few questions. First of all, a huge huge CONGRATULATIONS making it to the Finals of DWTS Russia. We couldn’t be more proud of you and Adelina!! Take us back to the moments you found out you made it. You and Adelina’s expressions were pure joy to watch and heaven sent.
It was great when they announced that we made it to the final!!! All of the couples in the semi deserve to be in the final and deserve that mirror ball. We are super excited and working hard to do a good show on Saturday.
So, which dance(s) on Dancing With The Stars Russia have you most enjoyed creating, choreographing, and dancing too the most? You have done an outstanding job. I’ve loved them all so much for different reasons.
I enjoyed all of them, they all very different character. I tried to create choreography which is gonna challenge and at the same time showcase Adelina’s ability the most. My whole idea was to show Adelina’s progress from week to week.
Do you have any hints for your new dance(s) for the Finals yet that you’d like to tease us on?
We are doing a Paso Doble and the other one will be a Russian dance calls “Yablochko” which is a very traditional dance, it’s gonna be fun!
Lastly, is there a message you’d like to send out to fans? Thanks again, Gleb and from all of us, “break a leg”!! We’ll be there with You and Adelina all the way and will be voting. Thanks again!! Xxx
