Noah Galloway Writes Touching Note Before The Dancing With The Stars Semi-Finals

Noah Galloway has written a touching note at his instagram leading up to the semi-finals on Dancing With The Stars. He thanks his fans and more. Read on (this is making me cry too)….

I came into #DWTS not expecting to go far, but here I am in the semifinals. I am here for so many reasons. I was paired up with the perfect pro dancer, @sharnaburgess. I have the love and support of my beautiful girlfriend @jamierboyd. My 3 wonderful children continue to cheer me on every week. My entire family has continued to have my back through everything. But there are the votes from the massive amount of supporters through this show that has made me so proud, I can not thank all of you enough. Each week I work extremely hard to show continuous improvements and its out of respect for all of y’all that have kept me here, thank you for that. I have so much respect for everyone I have met on this journey and can never out dance my competitors as we look towards the finale but I do my best to bring real emotion and dedication to my dances, that is what I have to offer, proof of the human spirit. I can be slowed down…but I can never be stopped. Whether I make it to the finale or not, this has been one incredible ride.

ETA: Pop Wrapped interviewed Noah and Sharna. You can read it here. Below is a take on the semi-finals…

Q: How do you feel now that you’ve made it to the semi-finals?

Sharna: We always keep our head in the game, and are hyper focused. This is the furthest I’ve been in the competition … Fans will write and say #TeamShway all the way, and that we’ll even win it, and that of course, is a fantastic desired end goal. What we do to keep razor-sharp focused as much as possible is to concentrate wholeheartedly on that week’s dance routine. It’s so wonderful going from Week One’s airing to now being happy to say we’re in Week 9!

Noah: Before we started, I thought perhaps I would make it to the third week. And now we’re going into week Nine (we are 74 days in)… I’ve experienced all sorts of pain (sometimes it’s just so tremendously hard, to not see your friends and family like you’d like to). There is joy too in being able to set a righteous example of showing people out there, if you put you’re mind to something enough, you can tackle pretty much almost anything!

ETA2: They also spoke with the LA Times.

LAT: You’ve seemed very confident – did you think you’d make it to the final shows?

NG: Nooooo. The most I thought I’d go is three weeks. I’ve never danced before and it’s not anything that comes naturally to me. Even now, I cannot do any dancing outside of this. When they ask me in a photo shoot to dance, like freestyle, I start sweating profusely. If Sharna hasn’t shown it to me, I don’t know it.

LAT: Sharna, can you give us any peeks into what’s coming for the semifinals?

SB: We’ll be doing a paso doble and a Viennese waltz, and I love that they’re so different from each other. One is more romantic and reminiscent, which is great for this moment in the journey. And the paso, Carrie Ann (Inaba) is our judge and we’re working with her to put this concept together. We’re finding something so epic and unexpected to show Noah in a different light. We’ll show his strengths in a different way. I think these are going to be entertaining and memorable pieces.
