DWTS Watchouts: Ben Higgins And Kaitlyn Bristowe To Dance In Season 22?

And so a new “Bachelor” for Dancing With The Stars rumor begins. E Online is reporting Ben Higgins is open to anything….and even to dancing on Dancing With The Stars. E Online also reports that Kaitlyn Bristowe (who was in talks to dance last season) is still open to the idea of dancing too. What do you think? Do you like the idea of these two dancing? I’m not sure, but, I think Ben is kind of cute? Heidi, what do you think?

Heidi: I think Kaitlyn blew her chance, actually. Most Bachelors/Bachelorettes are very old news by the time the “next season” rolls around. You have to strike while the iron is hot. Her iron ain’t so hot any more. Ben, on the other hand, will likely be VERY popular and I can see him on the show. Young, handsome, and down to earth (for now).  I like both of them and wouldn’t mind seeing them on the show, but I think Ben is the only one with a real shot…unless they take both of them since they “dated” on her season of the show.  Of course, both are in the “wishful thinking” category right now, and not in actual rumor territory – but I would be very surprised if Ben isn’t considered for next season. DWTS has a pattern. 😉

While the 27-year-old software salesman has yet to officially make his debut on The Bachelor (the premiere is on Monday, Jan. 4), Ben is already looking at life after his televised journey for love comes to end. And it may just include a trip to Dancing With the Stars’ ballroom for its next season.

When asked if he would ever consider joining DWTS while on a conference call with reporters, America’s most eligible bachelor had the perfect answer.

“I think I’m excited about what experiences are next in life. Just like I never expected to be on The Bachelorette, I never expected to be the Bachelor, I don’t know what to expect next and I’m open to anything,” he said. “I have a great life. I love my life here in Denver. I don’t want to chance my life, but if there’s opportunity to enhance it, I’m all for it!”

Translation: Ben is SO in if DWTS is.

Last season, Kaitlyn Bristowe was in talks to join the cast. While it ultimately didn’t happen, a source told us, “The timing isn’t right, but she loves the show and hopes to keep the door open for another season down the road.”

New DWTS Live “Dance All Night” Tour Interviews With Lindsay Arnold And Alek Skarlatos

The Salt Lake Tribune has a nice feature on hometown Dancing Wuth The Stars pro Lindsay Arnold. They are so proud of her and looking forward to her coming back to Utah for the Dancing With The Stars Live tour next week.

At age 21, Lindsay Arnold is starring in her second network TV show and embarking on her second national tour.

Not bad for a kid from Provo, right?

“I’m having a great time,” Arnold told The Salt Lake Tribune. “It’s a dream come true.”

Three years ago, Arnold was a finalist on the Fox dance competition “So You Think You Can Dance.” She transitioned to “Dancing With the Stars,” where she’s been one of the primary professional dancers twice and in the troupe three times.

The “DWTS” tour lands in Utah on Tuesday.

In the most recent season of that show, she partnered with Army National Guard specialist Alek Skarlatos — who became a hero when he and two friends, along with a Brit and two Frenchmen, took down an armed terrorist on a train traveling from Amsterdam to Brussels back in August.

More at Salt Lake Tribune. Also, below is a new Hollywood Today Live interview with Lindsay and Alek Skarlatos. They have some awesome stories to share. LOL to Lindsay saying Alek is a much better dancer now. So cute.
