DWTS Live “Dance All Night” Tour Teasers Before The Premiere, Choreographers Helping, Cool Moves, And More
Just a few tears before the Dancing With The Stars Live Tour premieres tonight. First, go to Nola.com to read a fun feature on Alek Skarlatos. He’s traveled quite a bit, but, never in a tour bus like this….
Skarlatos has traveled quite a bit. In addition to personal trips such as the one he took last summer in Europe, he said he’s served in such places as Afghanistan, Qatar and Kuwait.
“But obviously this is going to be different,” he said, noting he’ll be sharing sleeping quarters on a tour bus with many people, including “a lot of them that I don’t really know that well.”
Skarlatos said he’s excited to get out there on the road as an entertainer for the first time ever.
“It’s gonna be nice to see some of the people who have kind of supported me,” he said.

Also, look how Val has been working with Aerialist and dancer Tracy Shibata in the instagrams below. Tracy has toured with Katy Perry, Rihanna, and P!nk to name a few artists. Val and the cast have also been working with street dancer and choreographer Scotty Nguyen. Scotty also recently helped choreograph Derek and Julianne Hough’s Move Live on Tour. I’m loving these moves.

I’m so excited for this tour. Looking forward to the hip hop stuff with Val. Also I’m starting to like Alan as well. My friend got tickets as a birthday gift to me. This will be my first time going. Literally counting the days till the Dec 20 show in Houston.
Seeing it 2/1 in West Palm Beach FL. I’m not expecting MOVE but I read they have upped the production so I’m hoping to see a good show. Looking forward to seeing the pros go all out. Wish Sasha was there (of course Derek and Mark but that’s not happening!) For the Mods: curious about Julz Tocker being in show. Think he may be an addition to S22 troupe or just needed another male? Thx!
Anyone know why Sasha isn’t on tour. Some new male faces. Was it his choice or does he have other plans? With Emma on tour it would be logical he would want to go. Not seeing long term engagements from his Teitter. I apologize if this was already noted somewhere and I missed it.

As for Sasha, I’m not sure, but, they may have needed one of the pros to make appearances at special events around the country and Sasha was chosen this time to do so. He may have wanted a break too.

He’s strong like Tony and does amazing lifts. He fills in a lot on DWTS when they need an extra dancer in freestyles, pro numbers, etc.
Kate, Sasha wanted a break so he could spend Christmas with his family I’m pretty sure. Sad for you Vogue that you won’t see Sharna in Denver but I’m glad she’s with her family, it sounds like she’s had a really rough week on that front 🙁

A couple of people have already told me that the staging looks just like MOVE. I wonder if DWTS people go to MOVE every summer and just take notes.
From what I’ve seen so far, there is a backdrop similar to Derek and Julianne’s Elastic Heart Move performance on Move. There is also a chair scene in one number and a colorful backdrop in another that reminds me of Move.
Loved the Nola interview! I think it shows what a sweet guy Alek is in his regular life.

@Candace, it’s a great interview. Thought the part that @Voguerista highlighted about Alek sharing sleeping space with people he doesn’t know that well was fun. But to that idea, I am hoping this will give him a chance to make some new bonds with new people, if that is what he wants.; maybe Paul, Val and Alan, or even Sharna and Peta.
Mia saw photos of the stage and said it was very similar to MOVE along with dancers rising up from below the floor. And I saw the photos of the male dancers with the chairs and instantly flashed to two different MOVE numbers.
