Dancing With The Stars Sharna Burgess Attends Vanity Fair, L’Oreal Paris, & Hailee Steinfeld Pre-Oscar Party
Last night, Dancing With The Stars Sharna Burgess attended the Vanity Fair, L’Oreal Paris, & Hailee Steinfeld Pre-Oscar Party in West Hollywood, California and looking gorgeous as ever. Rumer Willis was there too. Thanks to Getty and @DWTS360 for the pics!!
It's #Oscars Week for me, so I will be focusing on that. Just know @Voguerista and @DWTSGossip will be taking good care of you. ?

OMG Sharna looks amazing!! ❤
I’m sorry, I love Sharna but this dress is ugly as hell and kinda tacky. The texture on the skirt is nice but it’s made to take a back seat to that heavy fringe. It almost looks like hair, and the shape of it in the front makes her look like Captain CaveCrotch. On the plus side, her head is gorgeous
Sharna is getting to be as bad as Henry in the self love department. Literally all she seems to post anymore is photos of herself or retweets of people telling her how amazing she looks.
I have to say I have soured on her a good bit. Perhaps she was always like this and it’s just her response to Val’s lawsuit that is coloring my whole view of her.
In her first couple of seasons, Sharna seemed so likeable and sweet. She is a beautiful woman and very talented. In this last year there seems to have been a shift in attitude. It seems more about winning and fan adulation than just doing your best job. I’m afraid Sharna has fallen down The Fam rabbit hole and has adopted some of their least appealing qualities. I’ll be interested to see how she conducts herself this season.
^^She also recently broke up with her boyfriend of around 5 years so theres definitely been some sort of change.. but on a positive note I do like her hair short
Everyone makes bad choices at various times in their lives and goes down the wrong path because they think it will take them where they wnt to go. I hope whatever’s going on in Sharna’s life lately, it doesn’t end up in regret for her down the road.
As I said on another article, I think Sharna got a nasty Hollywood wake up slap when she and Charlie White were sabotaged and thrown under the bus to make sure Maks got his MBT. Until then, I think she believed she was competing on a relatively level playing field where her skills, hard work, and creativity would be rewarded. After that season, I think she decided the way to get ahead was to self-promote to the hilt, make sure she was with the “in crowd”, and play the “I’ve been a good girl but haven’t won so it’s my turn” card.
I hope my cynicism is proved wrong.
She’s seemed to be on a bit of a rollercoaster lately.
The breakup, being there for her dad’s transplant, then not being there for her grandmother’s death, all coinciding with her best year on the show and then the tour.
I’m a Sharna fan for many years and she certainly has the dancing and choreography skills to win a MBT. She has had some challenges with partners, but I loved her chemistry with Noah Galloway. I enjoyed her pairing with Nick Carter too, although the right couple won last season. Just my opinion, but I think she stayed true to herself despite the usual producer prompting. Of course, she wants to win.
I sense some sadness with her. With Emma, Peta, and Lindsay I always get a happy vibe, but with Sharna I get a nervous, insecure vibe. I don’t think she is particularly happy in her personal life.
Does anyone else think she suffers from depression?
@Al, With all the negative things that have happened in her (quasi)-private life, it would be pretty amazing if she was “happy in her personal life” right now. However, I hardly think any of us are qualified to make a medical diagnosis from a distance (especially since we don’t know her personally) and say she suffers from depression.
I agree with Cidra, Al! Sharna’s had a death in her family, her Dad has been sick, and she’s had a big break up (btw, her ex choreographed the dance on Kelly & Michael this week). It’s natural for her to be depressed right now, but, that doesn’t mean she suffers from depression as a whole.
