Watch Normani Kordei And Valentin Chmerkovskiy In Their First DWTS Rehearsals
Below is a video of Normani Kordei and Valentin Chmerkovskiy in their first rehearsals for Dancing With The Stars. Let us know what you think in comments. She looks really good and I love her hair! Thanks to Zainab Malik17 for recording.
Ok honestly she’s gonna get on my nerves-actually they’re both gonna get on my nerves-I could tell from the GMA video that she awe fully arrogant for a 20 yr old and this little snippit of video just proved it-she’s a little cocky thing UGH yeah she can dance but that don’t mean a thing I don’t like your personality. And Jesus Christ if he said ‘dancers choice’ one more time….so I guess all his dances with her this season are gonna be a mix of ballroom steps and freestyle/hip hop? Len’s gonna have a field day lol Interesting-I never seen anyone dance ballroom barefoot before-she’s gonna have some huge blisters she keeps that up ???
Normani is very reserved and shy. I hope she doesn’t come off as rude or cold. She has many insecurities and lacks a lot of confidence.Partly thanks to some awful harmonizers mostly Camilizers Camilas fans. Just last year they were photoshopping pictures of her getting lynched and calling her awful racial slurs. Our fandom are the biggest fans and haters. She’s been through a lot. Just providing a bit of background on the way she is. She is not really a rude person.
I didn’t see anything cocky from her in this video..she does come off kind of softspoken though, so will see if she opens up more. They seem to get along well, and she can dance, they look like they’re going to be good.
I personally think Normani’s biggest asset is that her dance experience is going to be shoved under the rug. Normally I think it might get some attention, but with Heather, and the focus on the Olympic athletes, the fact that she’s also a ringer is probably going to be ignored. Per usual Val gets someone with dance experience and the show is going to act like she doesn’t. At least I like her so far. Her fans, on the other hand, have already annoyed me.
@Anonymous- I’m not a Val lover, but I don’t think she came off cocky at all. To me she comes across as a young girl who loves the show and is really excited about the experience. I also personally wouldn’t read too much into their dance based on a short video posted a few weeks before the season already starts, but that’s just me.
I have to agree with anonymous. Between that and val’s other thing that the site posted about I was already dreading this pairing but she just seems very much the same way as him. Don’t get me wrong I get fandoms but hers are crazy. People talk about the BeyoncĂ© fans but the harmonizers are equally as bad sometimes.
Forgot to add this part. She really reminds me of Sabrina Bryan with her dance skills (the other thing the site posted had a video too) but with an ego.
I could see her lines being similar they’re both really sharp dancers. But Normani is very chill, she doesn’t overperform and can contain her energy. Sabrina was really extra. She went 110% on everything.
@ #2. I don’t think people care or are aware of what Normani goes through with her fandom full of crazies and whatever happened with her ex bandmate. This is a dancing show. She’s being judged on her dancing, personality, and journey on the show. That is what the core demo of the show votes by. To me it’s going to be hard to swallow not ONE but TWO conceited dancers(Normani/Val) vying for the MBT.
LOVE HER!
#2 – Poor Normani. NOT! There have been many other contestants on this show that have been through way more than that. JR Martinez, Noah, and Amy Purdy are a few names that comes to mind.
And let’s not forget the poor little downs symdrome girl eating ice cream that Val fat shamed on twitter. She went through alot too. I wonder if Val had to pay up on his lawsuit or if he settled out of court?
#10 Sandy- nobody is comparing the incidents that the stars you mentioned have gone through with Normani’s and while you are right that JR, Noah and Amy all have been through traumatic experiences which have affected their lives permanently it doesn’t make it any more right to undermine the horrific racial abuse and cyberbullying which Normani faced over the last couple of years and probably still faces, unfortunately, from social media trolls.
