PureDWTS Season 25 Casting Rumors & Watchout: Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay Says “Never Say Never!”

As has become par for the course with DWTS, the most recent Bachelor/Bachelorette’s names are being tossed around as possible rumors for the next season.  We first reported Rachel’s name being in the mix back in February, pre-season 24.  In an interview with E!, Rachel talked about not being interested in joining Real Housewives of Dallas (“I kind of don’t want my personal life to be out there so much”) but seemed a bit more on-the-fence about DWTS:

While we do think Rachel would make an amazing Housewife, we understand the need to just focus on being out in the open with her fiancé (Bryan, Eric or Peter) after having to keep their engagement a secret for the last couple of months.
But just because the lawyer isn’t down to join RHOD doesn’t mean that she is opposed to doing another reality show, telling us, “Never say never!”
Of course, previous Bachelors and Bachelorettes have gone on to compete on Dancing With the Stars, including the most recent Bachelor Nick Viall, but Rachel admitted she would be a little hesitant to sign up for the ABC reality competition.
“I don’t know about Dancing With the Stars,” she said.I do love to dance. I’m a never say never-type person, so we’ll see!”
As much as I usually roll my eyes at Bachelor castings on DWTS, I would actually kind of love to see Rachel on the show – especially after Kaitlyn Bristowe spilled the tea on her own DWTS casting mess from a few years ago. I think she’d be a good partner for Artem or Gleb to really shine with.
Thoughts?

Love her too, however, I don’t necessarily see ABC making her the first African American lead and the first bachelorette since Trista do do DWTS. Doing both almost comes across as just trying to appease people & not super sincere. I almost see them holding off until next fall to have a Bachelor/ette person on the show & it being a Bachelorette.

I’d love to see Rachel, but I’d also love to see Kaitlyn given a second chance to do dancing. I’ve always loved her. I’d love Rachel with Keo or Gleb or Artem and same with Kaitlyn. I don’t think they’d pair Rachel with Keo tho for fear of seeming cliche. Though I think it would be a great pairing.

i would like to see her on the show. i feel like she would be paired with gleb

Honestly she is probably the most normal of anyone on the bachelor or bachelorette ever and I love that. Saying that, I think that it would be interesting to see her paired with gleb or maybe keo (if charo was tall enough I’d guess she would be as well).

I would like to see kaitlyn B. and as per her interview with ET she’s willing to do DWTS. I agree with #Lauren regarding Rachel.
