DWTS Finale Teasers And Voting Info, Julianne Hough, PitBull & Fifth Harmony, And More To Perform
Below are two great teasers for the finals of Dancing With The Stars Season 25…..a new promo. Also, Julianne tells us on her surprise (thanks Lori for the heads up). Also, from Disney ABC, you can read some more details on the performances and how voting will take place. This is going to be great. For more dancing info, see the new Who’s Dancing What…and When? post.
In addition, the night will include special performances by Pitbull & Fifth Harmony singing their latest single, “Por Favor,” and Alexander Jean performing “Wouldn’t Change Anything,” featuring a dance by Julianne Hough.
In the two-hour season finale on TUESDAY, NOV. 21 (9:00-11:00 p.m. EST), it will be a Christmas spectacular as the three finalists advance to the final stage of the competition. There will be live dancing and show-stopping performances at both The Grove and in the “Dancing with the Stars” ballroom. The couples will each perform two dances. The first will be a repeat performance of their favorite dance from earlier in the season. And in the last element of competition, the couples will perform a new routine as part of a “24-Hour Fusion Challenge,” in which they will each fuse two contrasting dance styles, and they’ll have less than 24 hours to prepare.
For the first time ever, following the completion of both dances by the three remaining Dance Couples, the public will be allowed to participate in an online-only live vote via ABC.com at http://dwtsvote.abc.go.com/ and Facebook at http://bit.ly/2o1VO7b. The vote limit will be five votes per voting method, and the voting window will be open for approximately five minutes. The live voting window will only be available during the live broadcast in the Eastern and Central time zones, and voters must be physically located in the U.S. or Puerto Rico to vote on ABC.com. Voters in Canada will be able to vote during this same voting window on Facebook only.
The night kicks off with a high-energy opening number, featuring a reunion of all 13 of this season’s couples, at The Grove, Caruso’s award-winning retail, dining and lifestyle destination. Multiplatinum artist Nick Lachey will perform a new, never-before-heard ballad, “Someone to Dance With,” a special track he recorded that was inspired by his journey on “Dancing with the Stars” this season. The song will be available on streaming services everywhere starting Friday, Nov. 17. Additionally, the show will include special performances by Kelsea Ballerini singing “Legends,” from her latest album; Lindsey Stirling featuring Becky G performing “Christmas C’Mon,” from Lindsey’s new holiday album, “Warmer in the Winter”; and Jordan Fisher singing a joyful medley with Debbie Gibson, “Sleigh Ride”/”What Christmas Means to Me.”
There will also be a special performance from the upcoming Dancing with the Stars: Live! Light Up the Night tour, hitting the road this winter, as well as a number inspired by the Walt Disney Animation Studios new “Frozen” short, “Olaf’s Frozen Adventure.”
The judges’ points and viewer votes from November 20 will be combined along with the night’s judges’ points and online-only viewer votes from the repeat dances and “24-Hour Fusion Challenge” to determine the winner. At the end of the night at The Grove, a champion will be named, and the winner will be presented with the coveted Mirrorball trophy.

Looking forward to Julianne’s dance and Debbie singing my favorite Very Special Christmas jam, “Sleigh Ride!”
How come all the season starts and endings have been shot at The Grove? I don’t understand why shooting in a shopping mall where they have to drive talent around is preferable to doing it all in the ballroom. Unless it’s because they can cram twice as much people in there that way?
If I am reading this right……I can’t do the ‘live vote’ because I am in Mountain time.
Could someone clarify if there is also regular online voting after the show is over or there is only the 5 minute window of the live online voting on East Coast Time?
Which celeb benefits from the 5 minute online live voting system?
I sure hope that i still get to use my west coast vote. That would suck if I couldn’t.
I can’t wait to see the show! It should be the best one in a long time because all of them are deserving to be there and the pros left are super creative!! The musical performances sound great too! I am also looking forward to hearing Nick sing!
I would rather see Derek’s dance of Hold On. I feel a little sad for Drew and Frankie = pretty clear not the top two. I agree with those results, but still……
@DM
You can live vote on Tuesday. The show will be 9-11pm EST, which is 7-9pm Mountain time. Even though you won’t be able to watch, just have the voting site ready during the second hour and keep refreshing until it says voting is open.
Pittbull and fifth harmony at the same time….that’s goinna Be interesting. I would have had Debbie sing with nick and Jordan though. If nick isn’t already there might as well make him do what he does well I guess lol.
Hit submit too early: his solo stuff isn’t exactly great. His 98 degrees stuff is stellar though.
Well, I was close, I think I said on another post (about Julianne) that maybe her surprise was going to be BC singing “Hold On” and Julianne or Derek or both dancing. I wonder if Mark and maybe even Lindsey will play while BC sings? Oh, it says Alexander Jean, so he probably will.
Everything looks like it’s going to be a nice Christmas ending for the show. Will be great to see all the couples again, and my other favorite Debbie & Alan. I could do without Pitbull & Fifth Harmony, but it’s only a few minutes of torture of each. Alexander Jean, Lindsey S and Debbie performing will be super!
Thank Vogue for posting this teasder. Also, thank you Lori for cluing us in on Julianne’s surprise.
Derek’s no longer a member of the mouse house, Gunny. He’s part of the peacock. 🙂 That’s evident also in the fact that he’s not co-hosting the Christmas thing with Julianne this year either.
LOL! I can always tell when I don’t proofread (#7).
Ugh Pitbull is there some kind of law that he has to always be performing? I’ll be sticking with YouTube like usual
Is there a way the West Coast can vote. Doesn’t see M fair to exclude us
I wish DWTS would get someone other than Pittbull to perform…..he’s so boring and mediocre
