Maks & Val LIVE 2020 Tour Featuring Jenna Johnson and Peta Murgatroyd!!

Such great news for the fans of Maks & Val Chmerkovskiy, Jenna Johnson and Peta Murgatroyd. The four are hitting the road on a new “Motion Pictures” tour stopping at 57 cities beginning in June. The tour will also feature special guests to help create their movie theme. Below is more from ET Online

“It’s all the usual things Maks and Val are known for, but with a twist, and that’s the motion pictures [aspect],” Maks teased. “We’re trying to see what it would be like if that iconic scene [from a movie] had a dance attached to it. Like The Godfather, Scarface, Terminator.”

“You can expect an amazing show, full of joy and comedy and sexiness and a lot of awesomeness,” Val added. “We obviously went with the famous dance movies, like Dirty Dancing, Saturday Night Fever, but we also put in movies that we just love to watch and obviously have impacted people across the world on a human level. When Harry Met Sally, stories like that. Gripping stories.”

Val shared that they “don’t want to give too much away” just yet, but said that all the films featured through dance on the tour are movies that “people love” and have enjoyed over the years.

“We’ve just kind of given it our own little twist and infused dance and music into it,” he revealed. “Old and new. We got the old classics and the new classics.”

“The best part about going on tour is that we get to share our magic. This love, this genuine authenticity with our fans and everybody in the audience,” he continued. “I think for those that have been to our [previous] shows, they could feel that energy on stage and it reflects in our work. There’s this love and pride and loyalty, but there’s also a great deal of generosity and I think that’s at the core of why I love being a performer. I know that’s why Maks loves to perform.”

I would love to see this. For ticket information and more, see Maks & Val Live 2020. Tickets go on sale on FRIDAY, March 13th!!

Charlie Sheen, A Political Contestant, And A Same Sex Couple For DWTS 29?

Is it possible we may see same a Same Sex couple for Dancing With The Stars Season 29? According to Blast.com via The Sun the possibility is real. Steven Price, a former producer, talks of how there will be at least one same-sex couple competing on the dance floor….

“Because this day and age you cannot control love,” Price told The Sun. “You cannot control who or whom you love, so you have got to support it You cannot condemn someone just because they love someone of the same sex. That is who they love — support it. As long as they are not hurting each other.”

“The Midwest is changing their dynamic now,” Price continued, admitting that some viewers might not like the idea of a same-sex couple on the show. “They are changing. They are being more open to it because they are being introduced to it.. love is love. The chemistry all the same. Same-sex, it just brings a different twist to it, because that’s something that needs to be addressed and out there.”

Also, let’s keep our eye on Charlie Sheen as a possible contestant for upcoming season. According to Rob Mills, ABC Entertainment’s senior VP of alternative series, specials and late-night programming, he would still love to see Charlie dance. The Producers would “never say never to another political contestant either….

“I don’t think it’s a huge secret because he came out and talked about it, but I would still love Charlie Sheen to come on.”

“I found him to be one of the nicest, most charming people,” Mills says of Sheen. “He is just a born entertainer and I think people would love to see him, but it may not be for him. What I really found very sweet about him is he basically said, ‘I really don’t dance. I’ve got two left feet.’ So there’s a real sweetness and vulnerability, which would be really fun to showcase on the show.

“I think you never say never to anything,” Mills added while addressing the controversy around having Sean Spicer as a contestant last season. “We would never say never to someone in politics. We would look at anything, potentially, if it were good for the show.”

I say “yes” to all the above ideas. What do you think? Let us know in comments.
