Private Members Area – DWTS Season 29 Week 5 Discussion

It’s time again for Dancing with the Stars chatter! Share your thoughts and insights as we lead into the next season of Dancing with the Stars from the comfort of the Pure DWTS Private Members Area. If you’re not a Pure DWTS Insider yet, you can do so here. If you are, then I look forward to the discussion in the comments.

For those not familiar with the Private Members area, it’s a way that you can support the work that the fine ladies of Pure DWTS do to cover Dancing with the Stars.  Plus, if you sign up, you get access to a private members only area where you can talk with other private members without trolls sneaking in and disturbing the fun.  Plus, you can be sure we often head into random side conversations which makes it all the more fun.

We know it’s a tough time for everyone, so no issues if you can’t afford to join the Private Members area.  We understand and will continue to make the majority of content available for free to everyone.  However, we thank those that do support the work we do here.  We all have regular jobs and do this on the side.  So, it’s nice to have a little side money from it.

Welcome to week 5 of DWTS!  Are you dressed in your 80s clothes?  Ok.  Who am I kidding?  That’s probably about what I wear most days.  I love 80s music too, so it has that going for it as well.

What did you think of tonight’s show?  Were you sad about the elimination?

How about the introduction of contemporary and jazz as styles of dance?  I actually love the styles and wish they’d do a Dancing with the Stars edition with pros that are great at contemporary, jazz, hip hop, etc.  While we know that SYTYCD has proven that many ballroom dancers can perform a contemporary or jazz number just fine, it’s still not the same as someone who was trained in those styles.  So, it’s a little unfair on DWTS when some of the pros have been trained in all the styles and others have only been trained in the ballroom dances.

Let me know what you think in the comments and thanks for all your support.
