Robin Leach Reports “Strong” Rumors On Dancing With The Stars All Star Season

The Las Vegas Weekly via Robin Leach is reporting some “strong” rumors on Dancing With The Stars All Star season. Who knows how “stong” these rumors really are, but, it’s fun to read and contemplate on none the less. 🙂 Just keep in mind, Robin is not an official source …and again, these are just rumors!

Robin Leach is on vacation in Italy, but he is still keeping tabs on Las Vegas. He reports strong rumors that Carson Kressley, now appearing in “Dancing With the Stars: Live in Las Vegas” at the Tropicana, will be part of the ABC juggernaut’s all-star-reunion Season 15 premiere in September.

Also onboard, Joey Lawrence, who recently bared his biceps with Chippendales at the Rio as a guest host and singer. And Maria Menounos, who fought bravely against injuries and narrowly missed winning the mirrored disco ball last season partnered with Derek Hough, could be given a second shot, but probably with a different partner.

The “DWTS” rumor mill is at full force, and sorting out fact from fiction is nearly impossible, but if you go by their personal twitter accounts, it looks as if they are favorites — at this moment — to return.

Cool Entertainment Tonight Teaser On Dancing With The Stars All Star Season

Kirstie Alley was one of the most popular dancers of the show’s 14 seasons but it’s Gilles Marini who has judge Carrie Ann Inaba’s vote. The season eight runner-up could very well come back to go toe-to-toe with Christian De La Fuente of season six.

If politics come into play, Stacy Kiebler could be high up on the list, as the appearance of her boyfriend George Clooney in the audience could bring in the most viewers ever.

It’s not just the trophy-less stars who will get to come back — winners Donny Osmond, Emmitt Smith and Helio Castroneves could also get a chance at repeating their triumphant seasons.

Oh man, this is an interesting piece from Entertainment Tonight. I’ll let the video do the talkin’ this time!!! Just PLEASE ….No Bristol and No Kate!!! 💡 Lots of names thrown around. Be sure to read the link, watch the video below, and let us know what you think!

Keeping An Eye On Former Dancing With The Stars Alumni And New Gig On The X Factor

This story raised one of my eyebrows this morning being several of our almuni from Dancing With The Stars are being considered for the new co-hosting job on the X-Factor this fall. As you know from our previous reports, several of the names listed below have either teased about returning, mentioned they aren’t sure about returning, and/or have been rumored to be dancing again on Dancing With The Stars during this same time period. Read below to see what I mean. If one or several of them are picked, does this mean they are out for the new season of Dancing With The Stars? From Entertainment Weekly. Look for our Miss Heidi’s thoughts after you read this.

Simon Cowell doesn’t want to make the same mistake twice.

The X Factor chief is taking his own sweet time finding the ideal host for the second season of the Fox version of his hit show. Unlike last year, when host-bot Steve Jones handled the show solo, Cowell wants two people for the gig this fall. And instead of having a host on the singing competition from the very start, the audition rounds (which are already being shot) will be host-free. “I want to work with a boy and girl and I definitely think this is a role for two people,” Cowell recently told reporters. “[We] have narrowed it down to 5 people.”

Some names we’re hearing are under consideration: BET personality Rocsi Diaz, actor and America’s Best Dance Crew host Mario Lopez and actress/model Stacy Keibler. Add to that some names E! Online is hearing: KhloĂ© Kardashian, Kelly Osbourne, BET’s 106 & Park host Terrence J, sportscaster Erin Andrews and radio personality Mike Catherwood (more names below).

Sources emphasize that prospective hosts are still being interviewed and actual testing for the gig is not expected for several more weeks. “They want to make sure the duo has chemistry,” one insider said.

Heidi: Reeeaalllyyy…at least Steve was nice to look at…the ONE time I watched the show. 🙂 Call me crazy, but I don’t think ole Simon is going to be able to duplicate the success he’s had in the UK with this show. And really, dude, “boy and a girl?” These are all grown ass people you’re talking about here!! And guess what? You’re not making me any more inclined to watch the show. You’ve managed to pick some of my least favorite DWTS people, with the exception of Kelly. Erin Andrews? No. Although I did hear that she’s quit her ESPN gig….or something like that. To claim that I follow Erin’s activities would be over stating it tremendously. Oddly enough, out of this group, I think I would like Khloe best. Crazy right? Khloe and Mike?? Could be awesome…or so trainwrecky as to be a blast to watch. 😀

As to Vogue’s question about if doing XF rules them out for All Stars – most definitely, I would say. It might be in the studio next door, and they would likely have plenty of time…but DWTS hasn’t crossed network lines before for their “stars” so I don’t see them starting now. Unless desperate. 🙂

I guess the real question is…is EW full of crap or have they got a legit source on all this??

Joey Lawrence Campaigns For Dancing With The Stars All Star Season

Joey Lawrence for Dancing With The Stars again? Hmmmm, …well, reading the tweet below from last night, it sounds like Joey is very interested. As you know, Joey was paired with pro Edyta ƚliwiƄska and they ended up placing third on Dancing With The Stars in Season 3.

So, what do you think if this idea were to come true and who would he dance with being Edyta isn’t on the show any longer. Peta? I do think it would be cool if they asked any of the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th place contestants to compete again.

Louie Vito Could Handle The Pressure Better If Asked To Do Dancing With The Stars Again

Recently, PureDWTS reader and Louie Vito fan Byrl reported to us that Louie said he was “available” and still had “something to prove” if he was asked to do Dancing With The Stars again. In a new interview with Yahoo TV, he tells them practically the same. Louis would love to do the show again since he’s older and could handle the pressure better. Plus it would help his snowboarding. Here is more…

You came in sixth place on Season 9 of “Dancing With the Stars.” With the “DWTS” All Stars season coming up, would you compete again if they asked?

LV: “DWTS” was a great experience. I was so far out of my comfort zone that it actually made my snowboarding easy. If I could go out and dance in front of 22 million plus people every week, doing something I didn’t have much confidence in, live audience, live judges, and wearing clothes I wouldn’t even wear on Halloween, how wouldn’t it help my snowboarding, which I am confident doing, know what the judges want to see, and wear what I want to wear? I would love to do it again especially since I am a little older now — I just turned 21 when I was on last time — and know how to deal with the pressure a little better.

To read the full interview, go to Yahoo TV.

So, I don’t know about this one? There are other people I’d rather see dance, but, hey. 🙂

Romeo Miller Hesitant To Return for Dancing With The Stars All Star Season

Dancing With The Stars Romeo Miller is soon to be seen on the big screen in “Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Witness Protection”. He tells Access Hollywood he can’t believe he lucked out in getting the part. He also talks on the new season of Dancing With The Stars. Below is what he says about. More at the link.

As for his “Dancing with the Stars” career, Romeo said he’d be hesitant to return for the All-Stars edition.

“That’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life, so it’d be a lot of consideration and thinking,” he said, adding that he’d like to see “DWTS” alums Kirstie Alley and Chelsea Kane return.

I wouldn’t mind seeing Romeo return. What do you think?

Shawn Johnson Doesn’t Think She Could Do Dancing With The Stars Again

The Post Game interviewed Shawn Johnson about her future plans after announcing she’s retiring from Olympic competition. Since then, we’ve been speculating on whether she will do the All-star Season of Dancing With The Stars this Fall. Here is what she said about it and be sure you read the link for more.

Four years ago, Shawn Johnson came away from the Beijing Olympics with one gold and three silver medals. She added a Mirrorball to her trophy cabinet after winning “Dancing with the Stars.” What’s next? Well, if you combine the international travel of the Olympics with reality-TV competition, there’s one show that sounds perfect for her:

“The Amazing Race.”

But Johnson is stumped on who to take with her for those capers around the world.

“Oh gosh, I don’t know,” she says. “Probably just one of my friend … or another athlete. ‘Dancing With The Stars’ was a really challenging thing. I don’t think I could do another one, but I am a pretty big fan of ‘Amazing Race.’ I think that would be pretty cool.”

Looks like this might be a “No”. Let us know what you think?

“You’ll have to wait and find out”, says Stacy Keibler so “coyly” when Hollyscoop asks if she’s doing the next season of Dancing With The Stars!! Watch her below to see what I mean?

I think she’s dancing. What do you think? 🙂

Misty May-Treanor Speaks Again About Dancing With The Stars Season 15

The Olympics are just around the corner and Misty May-Treaner is excited to travel to London and participate. She speaks all about it in a new interview with ESPN. Misty not only discusses the Olympics, she talks about wanting to dance again in the Dancing With The Stars All-star Season. Here is more….

Tell me about your wish to get back onto “Dancing With the Stars” with your post on Facebook.

Well it’s funny. The post kind of grew legs of its own. I wasn’t pleading for them to invite me back and I am not on my knees asking them, but I do know that they have an all-star cast where fans can vote to bring people back on the show. All I did was post four points on Facebook saying why I want to go back on. The first point was that I want to finish what I started. The second was that I never got voted off. The third was I want to dance for my husband because when his season finally ended and he was able to actually watch me dance live for the first time, I had gotten injured that Saturday before. And finally, I want to perform for my fans because I like interacting with people and when people have fun watching me do something it puts a smile on their face — that’s what I like to do. So hopefully they invite me back but you never know. I am glad I had the opportunity when I did and I hope the opportunity comes around again to let me finish.”
