Dancing with the Stars Season 24 Cast Announcement – LIVE BLOG

Well, here we go…with what, at first blush, appears to be the most jacked up season in DWTS history…and not in a good way. We’ve got one professional dancer and countless other female ringers. If you’re a female pro on this show…I’m sorry. Do good choreo – you women have a better shot at an Emmy than your male counterparts do.

Anyway, this first hour is likely to be news, etc. The GMA fluff, including DWTS cast announcement is usually sometime in the second hour. Well, for GMA the fluff starts much earlier, but the DWTS stuff probably won’t happen until after 8 pm eastern.

Oy veh…they’ve already started with the “I pity the fool…” and other hints, supposedly corresponding to the people below…

The blatant pimping of Val, Maks AND Peta begins. Nauseating.  And when will Maks and Val learn then aren’t actually funny? Like, at all?

Ginger, you were overhyped when you were on DWTS…and I don’t need you on my TV now.

Man, we are so going to miss the Hough-Ballas contingent to keep this show from going into the toilet.

Ohhhh…booo hooo…poor Val having to travel.

NOTE: Male pros sitting with their partners down in front…all the women STANDING in the back. But this show isn’t sexist at all.

OMG…how much do I love Charo?? Very, very much. LOL

Ya know… People Magazine published Nick as a contestant with Peta. Not sure why GMA is being so dramatic.

Heh.  They FINALLY give Sasha a ringer….and still manage to give Maks an even bigger ringer. I love Emma, but I’m hoping for Sasha/Simone domination.

I'm a nerd and proud of it. Two degrees in geology also means I love BEER. :-) I'm also a Derek lover - proud of that too. So don't scream at those of us on this site and call us a bunch of "biased Derek-lovers" - it's just ME. :-) It may sound like I hate DWTS at times, but really, I'm just a snarky nitpicker from way back. PureDWTS Season 24 Rumor Round-Up

The next 48 hours leading up to the cast announcement are likely to be pretty hectic, so I thought I better get this posted sooner rather than later.  Here’s the list of all the cast rumors we’ve heard/reported on for season 24 – as always, they’re divided into categories.  Legitimate possibilities are rumors that we think have some validity, based on who is reporting them; long shots are rumors from a source that we don’t necessarily trust, but it’s possible they could be valid; pure randomness is general observations/weird stuff we’ve noticed that may or may not indicate anything, but is interesting nonetheless; wannabes/campaigners are celebs that have expressed interest in doing the show, but we have no reason to believe they’ve actually been asked to do the show; and the definite “no’s” are celebs that have specifically said they won’t do the show.

Billy Bush For Dancing With The Stars Season 24??

Mark down our first rumor for Dancing With The Stars Season 24. According to Page Six, producers has began courting Bully Bush. Let us know what you think in comments.

An insider tells Page Six that “Dancing with the Stars” has begun courting the embattled “Today” star, 44, to compete on their upcoming spring 2017 season.

“It comes in March,” the source told us. “That’s far enough away. Everybody goes on to do the apology tour. It’s ironic there is Ryan Lochte on, who he started this controversy with when he started with ‘Today.’”

If Bush inks a deal with the show, which has relaunched a number of careers, he could dance his way to a new job on a new network.

“It’s also a way for ABC to establish a relationship with him,” the source noted.

Page Six previously reported Bush is already searching for a “high-power fixer” to help his ailing image. Another source emphatically said, “His likability factor has always been off anyway as a lot of viewers find him annoying.” And this could help.

More at Page Six. I’m not sure I want to comment on this one or not? Even before this scandal, I’ve found him annoying.

DWTS 12 – Len Goodman On Kirstie Alley, Mark Ballas, Future Dance Contestants, and More

Access Hollywood interviewed Len Goodman yesterday about Dancing With The Stars. In this first segment, Len explains how much he loves Kirstie’s attitude on the show and how she’s not “cranky”. He praises her and explains how she can win this competition. He also explains why he gets annoyed with Mark (like the rest of us).

In this segment, Len talks on what he thinks about Regis Philbin and Billy Bush being possible contestants on the show.

Lastly, Len reveals some things you may not know about him. He likes extremely long socks and he shaves his armpits. He says he’s sexy like Bruno too and invites Billy and Kit to take a shower with him to see. (lol)

Len cracks me up. Yes, he can be “cranky”, but, I love him as a Judge and would never want him replaced, would you? Same with Bruno. Now Carrie Ann is another story.

DWTS Season 10 – Gossip and Innuendo

Was someone mentioning Candace Cameron Bure? Ah yes, she’s the one who’s been “speculated” or “wished for” on DWTS for a few seasons now. Where the speculation came from – her or her fans – I don’t remember. And I don’t really care. 🙂 But according to her, it ain’t happening. I would suggest she’s lying at the direction of producers, but since she is very religious – well, she best not be.

Okay, this exchange, below, scares me more than LaToya and Pam Anderson combined. Please, God, NO. Please. I don’t ask for much, but I cannot tolerate Marie Osmond. I came to like Donny very much – but save me from Marie, please. To say I disliked her when she was a contestant on DWTS is putting it mildly. And if the dude below ends up being right, I will curse all you Sam Harris haters for making the show WORSE. 🙂 You know what they say…better the enemy you know. lol

You all know who Billy Bush is – he’s a radio and TV Host. R.J. Johnson, according to his twitter page, is a TV producer/writer in LA. He could be full of crap, he could be right – I’m just reporting the conversation. I want to share my fear. 😉
