Joey Fatone Just Has One Request For Week 2 Of Dancing With The Stars

TV Guide has a new interview up today with Joey Fatone. Joey just has one request for Week 2 of Dancing with the Stars and that is, “Don’t make me go first!” Joey is feeling good about his next dance however. More below and how he feels about being back on Dancing With The Stars…

How’s the quickstep going?
Joey Fatone: Really well. We have a great, fun number that I think people will like. We got the number together fairly quickly, which we’re happy about. It’s going to be good.

Did you hesitate at all in coming back for All-Stars?
Fatone:Well, I had known about it for a while. I got asked actually a really long time ago — maybe not asked formally, but they initially put it in my ear, like, “Hey, we might do an All-Stars season. Would you be interested?” I thought, “That might be kind of fun. Keep me posted.” That was about a year or so ago that we first heard about it. Finally, I got a phone call saying, “Hey, we’re gonna do All-Stars. You wanna do it?” And I said, “Yeah, that sounds cool.” I was one of the first people they called, which is very flattering. [Casting director] Deena Katz literally said, “Hey, we got out of a meeting and we’d like for you to do All-Stars if you would do it.”

You can read the full interview at TV Guide.

Stay tuned to this spot. We may have more with Joey and Kym later.

Bristol Palin Hopes Week 2’s Dance on DWTS Will Bring Smiles And Be Entertaining (Interview)

Below Bristol Palin talks to SarahNet.net about making it through the first week of Dancing With The Stars. She talked what goes on ‘behind the scenes’ of Dancing With The Stars including how they pick their costumes and their songs. They also run through some of her unexpected support. IE: Chaz Bono. Then Bristol gives a teaser for her and Mark’s second dance. “It’s going to be so awesome and so ME”, Bristol says while giggling. Lots more below…

Bristol’s has penned a new blog for Access Hollywood. Here is a take where she teases on her quickstep again saying it won’t be “just any quickstep”.

And this second week will be a blast!! We’ll be doing the quick step, which is supposed to be fast and powerful. But we won’t be doing just any quick step!

Mark had to tweak our moves a bit, because I get to use my favorite song… I doubt anyone’s ever done to the quick step to this. Though I can’t tell you what it is just yet, I know you’ll love it. It’s my anthem, the type of song I sing around the house.

Will my love for the song make me move a little better? We’ll see!

Let’s face it. I have a lot of room for improvement, and hopefully you guys can see a difference from week to week. I’m trying hard to get better, and I appreciate Mark’s patience and instruction! I also appreciate all of you voters!

DWTS15 Mark Ballas Gives A Preview For Upcoming Quickstep With Bristol Palin (Videos, Blog)

Oh, I am not sure I am ready for this Quickstep. It sounds like it’s going to be way out there and I am probably not going to like if it’s Country Western? 😯 We’ll see. I will try to keep an open mind. HELP! lol Anyway, here is Mark on he and Bristol Palin’s next dance in his new blog. Let us know what you think.

Our next dance is the quickstep, which promises to be a lot of fun because it’s not exactly conventional. At this stage, I’ll do whatever it takes to get Bristol to exude confidence and personality.

This week we are dancing to her favorite song. It’s been a bit of a challenge for me because I’ve never danced quickstep to this genre of music, but I’ve never seen her so excited and enthusiastic about dancing. She is loving it and that’s all that matters!

We also did something extra special this week to help get into the spirit of the dance and it was a blast. .. Put it this way: I hit the bull’s-eye quite often, and did it in true Houston fashion!

You can read Mark’s new blog in full at USA Today. You can also watch him talk about Bristol and Dancing With The Stars on ABC Phoenix and OK Magazine below.

Just a little heads up on Week 2’s Dancing With The Stars After Party!! According to Elena Grinenko of Grinya Talent, one of this week’s guests is award winning, ballroom expert Nick Kosovich who will help critique the dances. Below is more information on Nick at Wikipedia. As you might remember, Nick was partnered with Tatum O’Neal in Season 2 and Vivica A. Fox in Season 3 of Dancing With The Stars. I didn’t realize Nick was also in one of my favorite dance movies “Shall We Dance” starring Richard Gere and Jennifer Lopez.

Nick Kosovich is a professional ballroom dancer specializing in American Smooth and International Ten Dance. Kosovich resides in Los Angeles. He is currently appearing in the “Second Dance World Championship” (Dance for a Dream)in Mexico City for the “Televisa” Company. He is the representing Judge for team USA.
