Lindsay Arnold Talks About The New DWTS Tour, Hoping To Be Pro Again, And More

Good Grit Magazine talked with Dancing With The Stars pro Lindsay Arnold about the new Dancing With The Stars Live “Dance All Night” Tour. She says the new tour has been so fun so far. She also speaks of how the tour is different than what we see on TV.

GOOD GRIT: How has the tour been so far?

LINDSAY ARNOLD: The tour has been so fun! We’ve only been out for a week and a half, but it feels like we’ve been together for so long. It’s fun to travel and see the fans, and all of the support we have. We have so much fun together, especially on tour because the pressure is off and it’s more about having fun and enjoying yourself and performing

GG: What’s different about seeing this show than seeing you guys on TV?

ARNOLD: This show is totally different from the live television show. We’re dancing longer routines that have more of a story. On the show, we only usually get a minute or a minute fifteen to tell a story and we only do one dance a week; whereas, during this show, I’m doing at least sixteen dances. This is my first tour; but if you’ve seen the tour before, we have something completely new this time around. We have an incredible stage and our entire backdrop is a LCD screen that creates the most beautiful pictures during every single dance. During the dancing, the screen content is moving along with us to complement us, which is incredible and I think that’s something that really adds to the dancing.

More at Good Grit Magazine including how she hopes to be a pro again in the next season of Dancing With The Stars.

Lindsay Arnold Interviewed On The New DWTS Tour, The Cast Visits The Children’s Hospital In Los Angeles, And More

Lot’s of goodies on the tour today. First, check out the New Orleans Advocate. They talked to Lindsay Arnold about the new Dancing With The Stars Live “Dance All Night” Tour. She says the show “really went all out for this one” and she is right!!

“You’re going to see every style of dance you can imagine,” said Arnold, who has performed with the show for six seasons.

This is Arnold’s first time on tour.

“The show really went all out for this one,” she said. “The stage is enormous, and we have these incredible LED screens. And for portions of the show the dancers interact with the content on the screen. It adds a whole other effect to the movement.”

Arnold said fans of the show will recognize not only the dancers, but some of the choreography as well.

“I’ll actually be performing three dances that were on the show,” she said.

While “Dancing with the Stars” traditionally skewed more toward ballroom dancing, Arnold said the show has recently started to showcase a broader range of styles, including jazz, ballet and hip hop.

“They’ve really opened up the show, and you’re going to see that on the tour as well. We really get to have fun with it. There’s going to be everything from waltzes to contemporary. The show is really made for all ages — anyone who loves dance.”

PureDWTS Exclusive: Vogue’s Review And Photos Of The Dancing With The Stars Live “Dance All Night” Tour

Wow!! What a show in Denver, Colorado Thursday, December 17, 2015!! I don’t know where to start? All I know is the new Dancing With The Stars Live “Dance All Night” show is a definite spectacle to see. It was about so much more than I was expecting. For 2 1/2 hours you are set sail on a journey….and a colorful one at that in high tech form which will leave you at the edge of your seat.

First of all, I have to commend the producers and choreographers. They did their homework with all new dances never seen before. What’s more, there were 4 segments with a theme. For those that know me, you know I love a lot of passion, production, and theatrics. Well, it was full of all of those things as well state of the art, lights, and set designs. The back stage was set up similar to what was featured on Derek Hough and Julianne Hough’s tour last summer, but, the backdrops and lights were all completely different, taller in nature with a screen and light show built up into the ceiling.

And the dancing….my goodness!! It seems every season I complain there aren’t enough pro numbers on the show itself. Well, if you want PRO NUMBERS, then see this show as it’s full of well thought out dances that I’m not going to forget anytime soon with the “Cinema” section at the end being my absolute favorite. Let’s just say, they know how to bring it with a “Bang, Bang”. The graphics and dance movements were even more intense for each dance. The James Bond dance was especially phenomenal with Artem Chigvintsev starting it out with a backwards moon walk dance. I also loved the Great Gatsby and Latin dances. Other favorite dances of the night was the sexy chair dance with the Guys and Val and Tracy Shibata’s Hip Hop dance. Read more..
