Mayo Alanen & Kym Johnson Professional Dance Competition Videos

Mayo Alanen is a really great dancer. I enjoyed his dancing with Kym. The only problem for him is that Anna Demidova was off the charts. It’s sad that Dancing with the Stars can’t take both of them, but doesn’t that kind of defeat the purpose of having a competition? Either way, his performance was still tremendously entertaining and worth another watch. Looks like season 9 of Dancing with the Stars is still in good hands.

Anna Demidova really lit up the stage on Dancing with the Stars. I’m with the judges for once and really hope that America votes Anna Demidova as the next professional on Dancing with the Stars season 9. She definitely deserves it. Mayo Alanen Videos Before Dancing with the Stars

I have a sneaking suspicion that Mayo Alanen is a very popular dancer with all the female fans of Dancing with the Stars. When you see these two videos I found of Mayo Alanen dancing before he was on Dancing with the Stars, I think he’ll have even more fans.

I think that right now I’m predicting Mayo Alanen as the next professional dancer on Dancing with the Stars season 9. If not, as least we have the following two videos of Mayo to enjoy.

Afton DelGrosso’s Sister Ashly DelGrosso

I’ve search all over for some videos of Afton DelGrosso before Dancing with the Stars and I can’t find some anywhere. If someone knows of ones I’m missing, please let me know so that I can post them. I think they may be harder to find because Afton DelGrosso’s sister Ashly DelGrosso was on Dancing with the Stars before. I guess the show likes keeping it in the family (see Derek and Julianne and the other married couples on the show). Maybe I should put a poll up for the 3 professional dancers trying to be on Dancing with the Stars season 9.

Well, as a consolation video (since I can’t find any of Afton) here’s a cool video of Ashly DelGrosso and Louis van Amstel doing a Tango routine on DWTS.

Anna Demidova Before Dancing with the Stars

I just knew that there had to be some other videos of the three professional dancers trying to make it as the new professionals on Dancing with the Stars season 9. First up is Anna Demidova. Check out the following 2 videos of Anna Demidova before Dancing with the Stars.

ABC Primetime video of Anna Demidova. Anna shows up about 2 minutes in, but the whole video is an interesting look at Ballroom dancing.

This video is marked as a waltz at the International Championship 2007 by Anna Demidova. Sometimes hard to see Anna, but I just love these ballroom competitions.

Dancing with the Stars Season 8, Week 9 – Pro Dances

For the first time in a while, we got two all Professional dances on the Monday night performance show.  Each dance was intended to showcase the ballroom and latin dances that would be performed by the remaining five competitors. Great performances by Louis Van Amstel (also noted as the choreographer), Kym Johnson, Lacey Schwimmer, Dimitri Chaplin, Jonathan Roberts and Anna Trebunskaya.
