Julianne Hough talked with FOX11 about her role in “Dirty Grandpa” which hits theatres this Friday, January 22nd. You can read a little below how her character is nothing like her real self. She also talks of being more laid back now than when she first started her career.
“It’s really fun because it’s so random,” she shared. “I play Zac Efron’s fiance who is very uptight and very control freak; quite aggressive at times. She is a bridezilla for sure. There are moments when I was doing scenes, and I would call him up (Brooks Laich) just like, FYI, this is not me, I promise.
Hough, 27, says she’s a lot more laid back now than she was earlier in her career.
“I would say young Julianne should give old Julianne the advice which is stay true to you, and have fun,” she explained. “Because at the end of the day, when I was five years old, I only did things because they were fun and they were my passions. But when you get older, you start losing the fun, and what’s next for my career, and this and that, and then lose the fun of it. It’s almost like my five-year-old self giving my older self advice, like stay true to you and have fun.”
