Goo Goo Dolls and Florence and the Machine – DWTS 2010 Music

An interesting results show. You could see that even the pros dancing together were a bit hampered by the small stage in their performance. It was interesting to have the dancers on platforms. Not something that I want to see every week, but it was a nice change of pace to keep it different.

Here’s the list of special guest performers and their music:
Goo Goo Dolls did a medley of “Iris” Iris / “Not Broken” Notbroken with Dmitry Chaplin, Jason Glover, Chelsie Hightower, and another guest pro

Florence + The Machine sang “Dog Days Are Over” Dog

Forever Tango also performed.

As a side note, it was fun to see Jason Glover on Dancing with the Stars. With Dmitry, Chelsie and Jason that was 3 So You Think You Can Dance alumni dancing on DWTS at the same time. Sweet!

You’ll always find us listing the latest Dancing with the Stars music. So check back each week.

Michael Bolton and Ne-Yo Music on DWTS

Well, I’m sure that all of you were disappointed that Susan Boyle wasn’t able to perform on Dancing with the Stars tonight. To be honest, I wasn’t. Considering the really amazing talent that has performed on Dancing with the Stars, Susan Boyle seems like a major step down as far as I’m concerned. Nothing against Susan Boyle in particular. I just prefer other music on DWTS.

Either way, here’s the music they used on tonight’s episode of DWTS:

Michael Bolton sang “Hallelujah” with Anna Trebunskaya and Jonathan Roberts performing. Yes, that’s right. Another great dance from Anna and Jonathan and definitely my highlight of the night. In fact, here’s the video:

Ne-Yo sang “One in a Million” One with the Ne-Yo’s dancers

I’m not sure what song was used for Mark Ballas’ number. Anyone know?
Mark and Val did an acoustic version of Britney Spears’ “Toxic” Toxic.

Dancing with the Stars 2010 Week 2 Music List

As you know, we love to list all of the music from Dancing with the Stars. TMZ is claiming to have the rundown of music from week 2 of Dancing with the Stars 2010. They also have the dances they’ll be doing, although their list conflicts with Heidi’s list of DWTS Season 11 Week 2 dances. Either way, take it for what it’s worth. We’ll be sure to post the official list of music after tonight’s episode.

–SPOILER ALERT–

— Rick Fox and Cheryl Burke — “Tush” Tush (jive)
— Florence Henderson and Corky Ballas — “Suddenly I See” Suddenly (quickstep)
— Brandy and Maks Chmerkovskiy — “Magic” Magic (jive)
— Michael Bolton and Chelsie Hightower — “Hound Dog” Hound (quickstep)
— Audrina Patridge and Tony Dovolani — “Love Machine” Love (quickstep)

As for the celeb singers, Seal will sing his new song, “Weight of My Mistake,” Tuesday night, and Janelle Monae will sing “Tightrope.” Tightrope

Looks like the producers and Harold Wheeler had some fun picking out those songs for the couples.
