Kendra says she and Louis are improving and on the “positive thing” now. She hopes people will keep voting for them to see their growth. She also talks of her time of the month (yes, again, lol), but, is glad Louis understands. She talks about the judges too and if there is any bad blood between her and Carrie Ann. More below including Kendra shaking her booty. Oh boy, I am not ready for this again this week.

DWTS Season 12 – Cheryl Burke On Showing The Graceful Side Of Chris Jericho And More

10 Year-old LA Times blogger, Hannah Mitchell, was invited to Chris and Cheryl’s studio to ask a few questions…and they are ‘interesting’ questions to say the least. Below is a small take of the interview. Follow the link for much more.

Q: Chris, has being a pro wrestler helped you to learn to dance?
Chris Jericho: Yes, well, we’re in Week 6 on the show, so I must be doing something right. There are a lot of similarities between dancing and wrestling. The costumes are the same, the spandex and all that, but you have to be light on your feet to do both, and you have to remember choreography. How to switch your balance back and forth and that sort of thing, so there are a couple of things you use in wrestling that you can use in dancing as well.

Q: Cheryl, what was the toughest part of training Chris to dance?
Cheryl Burke: I think the toughest part has been getting him to be a little more graceful, especially with his arm movements on the slower dances. Really trying to make sure everything he does isn’t abrupt and show the graceful side of Chris.

Hannah topped the interview off with this little video. It’s so cute!

Dancing With The Stars Week 6- Romeo Miller With Some More Tricks Up His Sleeves

Jokingly, Romeo tells The Insider he wants to sabatoge the cast so he can win. Hines might be his primary target. He’s definitely in it to win this thing. He’s improved so much since we first saw him dance too. I hope he keeps stunning everyone as he’s done these last few weeks. A little more at the link and a video.

“I’m thinking about sabotaging the cast,” Romeo joked with “The Insider” correspondent Christina McLarty. “I can’t take the chance of me getting a top score and getting voted off regardless.”

Romeo kidded that Hines Ward would be his primary target. “I think I’m going to wear a Green Bay [Packers] jersey or something, come in there and bust his ego.”

Romeo also revealed his sincere thoughts of inviting some celebrity friends to his performances including Justin Bieber, Will Smith and Michael Jordan. “I got a few tricks up my sleeve,” said Romeo.

On Monday, Romeo and pro partner Chelsie Hightower will dance a romantic waltz, causing Romeo to unveil his softer side.

DWTS 12, Week 6 – Hines Ward Far From Fearless And More! (Video)

Hines and Kim gives us some teasers for their dance tonight on ET Online. Hines also reveals his biggest fear on the show>> THE JUDGES! I’d be afraid of the judges too if I were the celebritites. I imagine they are going to get really picky now until the end of the season too.

his interview.DWTS 12 – Mark Ballas and Chelsea Kane Plan To Turn It Up A Notch

Mark Ballas has updated his USA Today journal again. Get ready Guys. He says they are “turning it up” a notch (haven’t they already been doing that? He better still be careful on that or else in my opinion?). More details below. Mark also talks about his pro number on Tuesday with Karina Smirnoff and going “all out”. More at the link if you want to read on his album thoughts.

Time to get back to rehearsal. With this competition heading into the home stretch, that’s going to be my mantra: back to rehearsal. Because the only way we can knock off Hines and Kym, Romeo and Chelsie, Ralph and Karina, Kendra and Louis, Kirstie and Maks, and Chris and Cheryl, is to get back to rehearsal. In dance, as in life, hard work pays off! It’s officially go time. Five weeks behind us, five weeks ahead of us.

Our goal this past week has been to turn it up a notch since we’re in the second half. When there are several couples, it’s easy to hide in the masses. But now there’s no hiding. Over the next several weeks, the dances will get tougher, the judges scoring will get stricter, the fans will get focused on their favorites, and the couples will be more scrutinized. Oh, and the couples will have to learn and dance two or three dances per week.

We’ve had a pretty smooth rehearsal week. As always, Chelsea picked up the choreography quickly, and we’ve spent Thursday and Friday tweaking and perfecting the dance. Ballroom Quickstep is a lot different from Latin Samba, so the approach is completely different.

What’s the biggest challenge of the Quickstep? Keeping your partner in hold for the entire dance. Chelsea has proven that she has the ability to dance away from her partner, and now we’re getting used to dancing while connected. That’s a great problem to have, as usually it happens in reverse. Although, she might have blisters on her hands from never letting go of me this week!

In my last entry, I mentioned I’m doing a pro dance on Tuesday’s Results show. Since we have the Dance Troupe performing each week now, this is only my second pro dance of the season. The extra hours of rehearsal for pro dances make the week busier, but they’re absolutely worth it. As dancers on the show, we tend to simplify our dancing to match our celeb partners, so I’m really looking forward to dancing “all out” with Karina.

Edit to Add: A new video made by Chelsea, Mark, and Romeo. Chelsie and Pia make an appearance as well.

Edited again to add an interview from TV Guide. Here’s some hints for what we will see in their dance tonight. Thanks CK410 for sending us this interview.

What do you have up your sleeves for guilty pleasures week?Chelsea Kane: Well, we have one of those hilarious songs that no one wants to admit that they sing at the top of their lungs. This song came out before I was born [in 1988]. I didn’t pick it as one of my guilty pleasures, but I can definitely relate to probably what most of America thinks when they hear this song. But the routine is a completely different story from the song. It’s going in the vein of being young and carefree. I think it will be cute. The thing I love about being partnered with Mark is that he always wants to tell a story with his dances. There’s always some sort of theme or character to play.

You guys have gotten in trouble for not doing traditional routines. What’s your plan this week?Kane: We’re going traditional. We’re being very well-behaved! With the quickstep, the entire dance is also in hold, which is a challenge for both of us. I want to say it’s one of the most proper forms of ballroom because you’re not allowed to let go of each other. That just contradicts my and Mark’s personalities completely because we love to break apart. I think we won’t get into any trouble this week for bending or breaking the rules because we’re being 100 percent traditional.

Dancing With The Stars 2011 – Bruno Tonioli, Kirstie Alley, Petra Nemcova, Dmitry Chaplin Do Live With Regis And Kelly

Petra and Dmitry dance one last time on Live With Regis and Kelly. Bruno is there to help interview them (he can’t take his eyes off Petra. lol). Kirstie was interviewed as well this week. You can tell Kelly Rippa is a huge fan to the show. I’d just love to see her do the show someday. Anyway, don’t miss seeing these interviews if you didn’t get the chance.

Dancing With The Stars 12 – Maksim Chmerkovskiy: The “Juju is Gone” and More

Maks has a new blog up at TV Guide. Reading over his blog, I’ve never seen him happier. He writes about all the fun he had this past week with Kirstie and the “Sex on a stick” monologue. He gives credit to the “Dance Doctor” coming to help that (wouldn’t it be funny if John Travolta made little special surprise appearances like that again in the future to give advice?). Then Maks talks of this week’s up coming dance (the Samba) and a little about he and Kirstie’s visit to New York. More below and at TV Guide.

I thought our foxtrot was great. Val said, “I know you have ‘American Woman,’ but I cannot hear it as a foxtrot.” And it was the same for me. It’s not a traditional foxtrot at all. I was waiting to see what we’re going to come up with. I like that Kirstie trusts me. I don’t know how much now after the sex stick speech! My only worry was that this may be the only time she’ll ever get to do the foxtrot and it wasn’t a traditional one. But she didn’t mind. I also like that it was very different from everything else that night. It wasn’t a “Yankee Doodle Dandy” performance. We represented the Rock ‘N’ Roll side of America. My post-mortem on it though is that we danced to a song originally by a Canadian artist that was telling an American woman to get away. The irony! But I think most people understood that we were channeling the Lenny Kravitz version.

Oh, and how could I forget! No mishaps this week. I think it was the dance doctor’s doing. The juju is gone, so we won’t have to lock ourselves in a closet for a year!

Next week, we have the samba. It’s guilty pleasures week. We didn’t choose the song, so it has nothing to do with Kirstie’s guilty pleasure, so there will be no portrayal or acting out of the song. We are in New York this week and are trying to split time between rehearsals and hanging out. It feels great to be home! Everyone was saying how crappy the weather here has been the past few weeks, but our first day here, it was nothing but sunshine, so I guess we brought the sunshine!

DWTS12 – More On The Dancing With The Stars Entertainment For Monday & Tuesday

The Orlando Sentinel is reporting more details on the entertainment for next week from our previous posting. They list the songs to be performed by the guest performers and a special treat for Derek Hough fans after Monday night’s show. Not only that, celebrities, judges, and some “dancing” alumni are returning. The “Macy’s Stars of Dance” are also paying tribute to Prince William and Kate Middleton’s Royal wedding. More below. Exciting week coming up!! Who is going to be there? 😀

1. The dance contest will feature Hanson singing “MmmBop” during Monday’s performance show at 8 p.m. The theme is “Guilty Pleasures Night,” and the seven couples will perform a Latin or ballroom style to what the network calls “a musical guilty pleasure.” Translation: a song nobody wants to admit liking.

2. Derek Hough, who isn’t on this year’s show, puts in a guest appearance on “Better With You.” It airs at 9:30 p.m. Monday right after “Dancing.” Hough plays a dance instructor. Larry King also has a cameo.

3. ABC will offer a live “Dancing With the Stars” special at 8 p.m. Tuesday. It’s called “The Road to the Finals” and will feature the celebrities, judges and ”Dancing” alumni sounding off. Hanson will perform “Give a Little.” Also performing will be the cast of “Rock of Ages,” which features Constantine Maroulis of “American Idol” and Rebecca Faulkenberry.

4. The “Dancing” results show will follow at 9 p.m. Tuesday on WFTV-Channel 9. New Kids On the Block/Backstreet Boys will perform “Don’t Turn Out the Lights.” Pia Toscano of “American Idol” will sing “I’ll Stand by You” as pros Mark Ballas and Karina Smirnoff dance. The Macy’s Stars of Dance segment will celebrate the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Thanks for Heidi for sending me more details on the entertainment to post. Speaking of, be sure to check into Pure Derek Hough because Heidi has some great things up from when Derek visited Texas this past week. She’s got even more goodies on the “Better With You” appearance as well. Don’t miss it!!

Pure DWTS Season 12 – Chris Jericho on Bigfoot, The Loch Ness Monster, And The Holy Grail

Chris Jericho is too funny. Once again, his writing style has me wanting more. I love his positive attitude as well. I don’t know how Donny Osmond could say Chris has a big ego? That’s not the way I see him. Anyway, read below for the milestone he hit with Len Goodman this week and how this past week’s dance on Dancing With The Stars made him feel. More at TV Squad.

Bigfoot. The Loch Ness Monster. The Holy Grail.

All of them are unsolved mysteries that have been studied and pursued for centuries. Yet none of them are as evasive or mythical as my personal ‘Dancing With the Stars’ White Whale: scoring an eight from Len Goodman.

My quest for the elusive eight started after week two, when Len awarded me the first of three successive sevens in the competition. It seemed no matter what I did or what Len thought of my dances, he always gave me the same score.

While a seven is nothing to sneeze at, I was really getting sick of that number. I mean, what is a seven anyway? Two stupid lines stitched together at an angle that makes it look like an upside-down nose?

Three sevens is great for a hand of blackjack or if you’re playing the slots in Reno, but it’s merely an above average score on ‘DWTS.’ And I’ve never wanted to be just “above average” in my life. If I ever was, I certainly wasn’t too damn happy about it.

Do you think Wayne Gretzky wanted to be an “above average” hockey player when he scored 215 points in a season? Do you think Eddie Van Halen wanted to be an “above average” guitar player when he wrote ‘Eruption’? Do you think The Situation wanted to be an “above average” comedian when he did the Donald Trump roast? OK, bad example, but you get my point. If you think I joined ‘DWTS’ because I wanted to be “above average” then you’re more out of the game than Manny Ramirez.

I joined with the intention of winning … or at least giving it my best shot. And being in the middle of the pack was not going to get that job done. So I decided after last week’s paso doble that I was really going to work hard on getting that evanescent eight from Len.

I knew it wouldn’t be easy. There would be no free passes for me from any of the judges, most especially Mr. Goodman. And I didn’t want a free pass, I wanted to earn my keep. So partner Cheryl Burke and I worked harder than ever to put together a patriotic Viennese waltz that would take me out of mediocrity and to the top of the pack. With my waltz, I wanted to finish more lines than a Shakespearean actor and display more fluidity than the fountains at Caesars Palace.

Special Note: Don’t miss seeing Chris and Cheryl on The Ellen Show Monday. Here is a picture Ellen posted on Twitter. Should be fun!

Robin Roberts of Good Morning America interviews Maks and Kirstie in one of Maks’ Dance With Me Studios in New York to see their chemistry up close and personal for herself and what makes them both so irresistable. Priceless and funny as always!!! Kirstie looks just stunning too!!
