Today, Roadrunnerrecords.com is reporting Tommy Lee was approached by Dancing With The Stars to dance this upcoming Season. As you know, Tommy is the founding member of hard metal band Mötley Crüe and once married to model, actress, and former Dancing With The Stars contender Pamela Anderson. Rumors have surfaced again about Kelly Preston or is this just a recycled rumor? InTouch Weekly via an inside source is reporting Kelly Preston as wanting to dance on the show and a possible “shoo-in”. As readers to the site know, we’ve reported on this possibility several times. I tend not to believe it since she’s currently filming Gotti: In the Shadow of My Father with her husband John Travolta. But, hey, you never know? Maybe her part will be wrapped up by September?
Kelly Preston has been cheering on pal and fellow Scientologist Kirstie Alley from the sidelines on Dancing With the Stars, but it seems the new mom wants to get out of the audience and onto the stage!
According to an insider, Kelly sees what the show has done for Kirstie’s body and her popularity, so she was open when producers talked to her about joining the cast next season. “Kelly has auditioned and she is a shoo-in,” the insider says. “If she wants on the show, there’s a good chance it could happen.”
Also, I’ve noticed some twitter chat via The Insider saying Chynna Phillips might be in talks to dance on Dancing With The Stars. I’ve checked The Insider site for more information. There’s been nothing reported so far that I can find, but, be sure to watch The Insider tonight as they are going to talk about who’s in and who’s out for Dancing With The Stars 13. Maybe Chynna will be mentioned at that time? I like Chynna and I could see a pairing with Maks or Tony…or maybe even Derek? What do you think? FYI, Chynna is married to William Baldwin and is the daughter of The Mamas & the Papas’ band members John and Michelle Phillips and the half-sister of actress Mackenzie Phillips.
