DWTS Judge Carrie Ann Inaba Dazzles At Humane Society Genesis Awards 2012

Last night she hosted the 26th Annual Humane Society Genesis Awards which honors entertainment and media outlets for raising awareness about animal issues. Some of the winners last night included “Rise of the Planet of the Apes”, “The Colbert Report”, “Hawaii Five-O”, “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” “NBC Nightly News”, and “Today”. DWTS Judge Carrie Ann Inaba To Host Humane Society Genesis Awards 2012

Known for her love, compassion, and charity work for animals, Dancing with the Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba has been picked to host The Humane Society of the United States 26th Genesis Awards!! The awards show will take place on Saturday, March 24, 2012, at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. The annual Genesis Awards honors the news and entertainment media for raising awareness of animal issues. It is set to air as a Television Special on Animal Planet in May. Below is a quote from Carrie Ann…

“I’m honored to have been asked to host an awards show that is both a celebration and a consciousness raiser,” said Carrie Ann. “In a busy awards season, The Genesis Awards stands out as an event that has true meaning in the larger scope of things– it’s the OscarsÒ for animals and the people in the media who give voice to their plight.”
