Watch Sasha Farber And Emma Slater Dance In “Life’s A Dance”, Reunited With Tristan MacManus

As you know from a previous post, Dancing With The Stars Sasha Farber and Emma Slater danced in a “Life’s a Dance” celebration in Pensacola, Florida over the weekend. Well below is a beautiful video Sasha posted at his instagram. He tells us there is more to come (a Jive). So, stay tuned to his Instagram.

Also, isn’t it great to Tristan MacManus again? What a breath of fresh air all three of them are.

“Life’s A Dance” With Sasha Farber, Emma Slater, Sharna Burgess, Tony Dovolani, And Tristan MacManus

Last night Dancing With The Stars Sasha Farber, Emma Slater, Sharna Burgess, and Tony Dovolani danced in “Dancing With Desire” in Niceville, Florida(which you can read about here). Tonight they (along with Tristan MacManus) dance in a “Life’s a Dance” celebration in Pensacola, Florida. PNJ.com reports on Tony and how much the event means to him….and for a long time now.

“Tony is always consistent, even with his growth in popularity,” Luna said. “There’s so much talent to that guy, and he comes here every year; has not missed one.”

“This is home away from home,” Dovolani said.” This is always on my calendar because of the relationships here. They are like family.”

The Life’s a Dance celebration, tonight at the Saenger Theater, pairs local celebrities with instructors from Luna’s dance studio. In addition, there will be performances by cast members of “Dancing With the Stars,” including Dovolani, Shana Burgess, Emma Slater, Sasha Farber and Tristan MacManus.

This year’s local celebrities include Carey King of the Studer Group; Dr. Luis Navas, Medical Center Clinic; Jason Crawford, Intelligent Retinal Imaging Systems; John Lark Herron, John Lark Herron Insurance LLC; John McLean, Pensacola Ice Flyers; Karen Sindel, candidate for District 1 County Commissioner; Laura Hussey, WEAR ABC3; and Nicole Stacey, Pensacola Beach Chamber of Commerce.

Barry Cole of Bere Jewelers donates a watch each year. Dovolani was at Bere today to pick out the new watch he will wear for next year. He also returned last year’s watch, which will be raffled off.

“Tony is a great guy,” Cole said. “He’s a normal guy with three kids and he is big into supporting charities. You know when you have someone like him, you can count on him.”

“He could be doing anything,” Luna said. “But he brings his family and spends Father’s Day weekend here.”

Dancing With The Stars Pros Help Raise Thousands For Covenant Hospice

This past weekend, Dancing With The Stars pros Tony Dovolani, Karina Smirnoff, Tristan MacManus, Val Chmerkovski, Oksana Dmytrenko , Sasha Farber, and Emma Slater helped to raise over $12,000 dollars for Covenant Hospice at the 5th annual ‘Life’s a Dance’ event in Pensacola, Florida. You can view a few segments of the event and some coverage at ABC3 here and here.

PureDWTS reader Gail sent us some personal coverage as well. Below is Tristan with the ladies of the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Pensacola. Gail tells us Tristan was sunburned, but, he was still in fine dancing form as you can see.

Fan Angela Anderson also attended the event. She’s been posting some awesome video coverage at her You Tube page of some of the dances. For instance, below is Oksana and Val!

However, it was not all work and no play for our pros!! There was some time for relaxing and fun in the Florida sun too. For instance, Emma Slater has been posting some breathtaking photos of she and Sasha enjoying some beach time. Be sure to take a look. They are beautiful and the white sand is so inviting. I am so in the mood to go to Florida again now. Who’s with me?
