Let’s Send A HUGE Congratulations To Our Two DWTS Couples!

Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy were married on Saturday, July 8, 2017.

Julianne Hough and Brooks Laich were married on Saturday, July 8, 2017.

I had promised our sweet Vogue, who has been away from the computer for the whole weekend, that I would fill in for her, and post photos of both weddings. Instead, I ended up being VERY busy and away from the computer for a majority of the weekend because of some family obligations. I had been trying to keep up with things on my phone though…

I’m not going to post the photos, however, because I usually have a lot of trouble getting them to post, and it’s Vogue who puts any photo onto anything I’ve posted!  Instead click here to see Julianne and Brooks announcement from People and click here to see Peta and Maks announcement from People.

There’s been quite a bit said about the two weddings being on the same day, and even mentioned how unfair they were to not move their dates. The thing is, neither couple moves in the same circle, and I really don’t think that there was as much overlap in guest list as people are assuming. Other than the dates, and that 3 of them are employed by DWTS, I don’t think there was too much the same.

Both brides are breathtakingingly gorgeous! Both brides had gowns that fit them and their personalities. Both brides had a wedding that they’ll remember for the rest of their lives! Both grooms are head over heels for their bride, and vice versa.

Peta and Maks chose to get married in a huge wedding at Oheka Castle on Long Island, NY. Julianne and Brooks chose to get married in the middle of a field lakeside near Coeur D’Alene lake, Idaho.

Both are important events, and both deserve to be celebrated. I’m sure we’ll find photos to add at a later time, since one of the wedding parties chose to be a LOT more secretive about the entire wedding than the other.

The Maks And Val “Our Way” Tour Premieres In Melbourne, Florida – Photos, Videos, Fan Thoughts

So, the Maks and Val “Our Way” Tour premiered their first show in Melbourne, Florida last night. One of our readers named Matt said the show was “a lot of fun”. It wasn’t sold out, but, it was almost full. There was a “good variety of dancing” with a Cha Cha, Contemporary, Salsa, and a Jive. There were some nice segments of when Maks used to teach dancing and the other dancers in the show pretended to be his students. Peta Murgatroyd and Jenna Johnson were in the audience. Maks made a nod to Peta during the show and she was having fun, screaming and clapping loud each time. Thanks Matt! Below you can view a few photos and videos.

Dancing With The Stars Peta Murgartroyd and Maks Chmerkovksiy Chat On Their Wedding And More

Dancing With The Stars Peta Murgartroyd and Maks Chmerkovksiy talked with E Online today about their wedding plans, babies, and lots more. Videos below. So cute!

The couple tell E! News they’re planning to wed in New York City in July 2017, which gives them some time to plan, but there’s still a lot to get done. “It’s a while away, so we’ve got our location, we’ve got our date set, and we haven’t even started doing the guest list yet, but that can wait a little bit,” Peta told us.

“I can try on some dresses now. I think it’s time to start doing all that and getting a wedding planner.”

And you can definitely expect to see some familiar dancing faces at their ceremony. “We deliberately have it in July so it doesn’t conflict with any of the seasons, so we can bring our past partners and our troupe of dancers and stuff like that,” Peta explained.

Dancing With The Stars Nyle DiMarco In New Issue Of People Magazine

Be sure to pick up a new copy of People Magazine on Friday in news stands everywhere. One of the featured stories is with the amazing Nyle DiMarco. Here’s part of what will be featured….

“I’ve never wanted to hear,” the America’s Next Top Model winner says in the current issue of PEOPLE. “That’s never existed in my life. I’m happy!”

Born in New Jersey and raised in Frederick, Maryland, by his single mom, DiMarco is just one of more than 25 deaf people in his family.

His twin brother, his older brother, his parents, grandparents and great-grandparents? All deaf.

“Growing up, I was always involved in the Deaf community,” says DiMarco, who socialized with hearing children while playing sports at the park and riding bikes around the neighborhood but attended a school for the deaf for most of his elementary, middle and high school years.

Sneak Peek Of Men’s Dancing With The Stars Week 7 Team Dance

If you go to US Weekly, you can see a sneak peek video of the Men rehearsing for their team dance.

“You got to be James Brown,” Von Miller advises his team. And dance pro Sharna Burgess, who is paired with Nyle DiMarco, points out that the squad should be able to give the late Godfather of Soul a run for his money in the showmanship department: “There’s quite a lot of swag just standing in this group right now, though.”

Adds Wanya Morris, “We got Von’s personality, Antonio [Brown]’s smile, Nyle’s ability to make his body move to the counts, my ability to entertain. And if we embody all of that, we are going to win this challenge.”
