DWTS POLLS: Your Favorite Dancer And Best Dancer To Place 2nd On Dancing With The Stars (VOTE)
So, after Dancing With The Stars Season 13 ended, we took two new Polls to see who your “favorite” and “best” 1st place winners were to ever dance on Dancing With The Stars which you can view here. Interesting enough, out of 1,169 total votes polled and as of now, Kristi Yamaguchi won in the “Favorite” 1st Place Winners category with 251 votes. J.R Martinez and Emmitt Smith tied for 2nd with 163 votes and Jennifer Grey won 3rd place with 131 votes. In the 1st Place “Best” Dancer Winners category and with a total of 1,051 fans polled, Kristi Yamaguchi won with 449 votes with Nicole Scherzinger placing 2nd with 323 votes. J.R. Martinez placed 3rd with 68 votes. What do you think? Any surprises or disappointments?

Kristie as the “best” dancer? Maybe before Nicole showed up but I don’t think Kristi even comes close to Nicole. Having re-watched Kristi’s season not too long ago, I was pretty surprised that she doesn’t stack up so well. And don’t get me started on JR – as much as I loved him and was fine with him winning, he doesn’t place in the top 5, IMO.
All these polls are cool and all, but a post about showmances would be way gooder (or better)

Heidi, I think Nicole was the best dancer as well.
As for the Second place winners, my “fave” has been Kirstie. The best dancer from the 2nd place group is Mel B I think.
This was tricky for me since msot of my favorites were listed lol. In the end, I chose Kirstie for the first one and Giles for the second
My fav: Gilles. Can we have more male celebs like him please.
Best dancer: Mel B and that might be because I really liked her dances.
My fav: EVAN LYSACEK!!!!! Evan and Anna are my favorite couple EVER! I also really liked Kyle Massey.
Best: ooooohhhhhh…… That’s tough. I don’t know. I’m stuck between Evan, Gilles, Kirstie, Mya, and Mel B
This list is so hard to choose from, much more difficult than the winners list. Guess it goes to show I end up liking the 2nd place finishers way more than the winners – usually. But Gilles and Kyle followed by Kirstie and Warren are probably my most liked, with the best dancers being Mario, Mel B and Gilles. I also really like Evan and I love Anna but their partnership was a little muted for me, although they did have some great dances.
A lot of my favorites seem to be in the 2nd place finishers as well, Fig. It was hard to choose. I ended up liking Rob too.
Oh, and Heidi? I meant to say I didn’t think J.R. was ‘all that’ as a dancer either. I was shocked to see him placing at 3rd.

On a side note ,after thinking it over I had to vote again. This time for Kirstie in the first one and Joey Fatone is second.

Three of these are in my top all time favorites. So I voted for Gilles for best dancer, and Joey for favorite. But I also loved Mel, and I really like Evan, and I like others a lot too
To me, Joey is like pure sunshine. And Gilles, hot hot hot. And Mel is so much fun to watch too.
Imo, for me it was between Mya and Mario Lopez on both questions. Also, they both should have won the MBT in each of their seasons.
Yay! I LOVED Kristi! I never gotten the rampant love for Nicole and Ill never understand it either. Oh well.
A day later, and I’m still the only vote for Jerry Rice as favorite 2nd place finisher. Guess it’s the football lover in me – I got your back Jerry, will always remember the ‘fro dance…
It’s not about rampant love, ohlala – it’s about who is the best dancer. Nicole is, hands down. No contest. I’m not even sure Kristie is number 2 any more. Evan was pretty damn good, as was Gilles Marini – but I guess the poll was about the winners.
Warren wasn’t a great dancer at all – but he was charming as hell and lovable. Nuances, people.
