Great idea about having people who attend write guest blogs. I really enjoyed reading the write ups from Derek’s MOVE tour. Yet another reason you guys are the best.
Got my ticket for the Cleveland show already!
So glad they’re coming to Vegas. Although, it seems like it’s not on their list. I assume the Venetian is making them use something other than ticketmaster or something.
Looks like I’ll be able to make the Houston show!
@jess #1
Yes, just One of the many reasons why I enjoy being a member of this site.
Awesome Tony and Sherry. I think I’m going to have to take the plunge here soon too.
Vogue, Are you going to try and make the Denver show? I am waiting to see who some of the other dancers are for the show. Of course, hoping for Gleb, I think Sharna will be on a cruise. Looked at seat chart and front row seats are going. Let me know if you are coming, we should meet.
I gave in. Bought VIP tickets when they went on sale this morning for the Boston show. I’m excited to meet Mark & Witney. I just hope they announce more pros/stars soon!
My friend and I live about two hour drive from Bethlehem show. We would love to go, but these shows fall in the winter months. We are hesitant to get tickets due to the possibility of a snowstorm and then we couldn’t get there. We haven’t decided yet if we get tickets and take a chance or not.
Thanks Julie, I’d love that too. I’m still thinking about it. Like Lois, I can’t decide since I barely made it to Cheyenne for BWAT as February is one of our worst months for snow. I’ll let you know if I do.
And Kaitlyn, awesome. Be sure to keep us posted.
Ah. I wish I could get VIP tickets. Not that the Houston VIP tickets are up yet. Haven’t gotten regular tickets yet because I’ve got to wait until payday.
But yeah, I have a feeling VIP tickets are probably out of my price range.
I bought a ticket for the Jan 18th show in Cleveland OH at the Hard Rock Rocksino!! Gonna meet up with the gals I met at the Move Live show last summer!!! Didn’t get VIP because I saw that Front Row VIP was $500 & Reg vip was $250.
If Jules & Derek are definitely touring again next summer, I’d rather spend the $ for Ultimate VIP to meet & greet with THEM again.
I DID however, get an aisle seat. I had an aisle seat for the Move Tour and was able to reach out to Jules and Derek TWICE EACH and gave em both a kiss on the cheek TWICE 🙂 SO I WILL do the same to Mark Ballas if he comes up my row :).
I have no shame…I’m 42 yrs old and I SURVIVED CANCER!!! Besides…no one there will know me, other than my friends Rachel and Felecia 😀
KellyK, ditto. If I go, I’m only getting the regular ticket because I want to see Derek and Julianne this summer. Plus, Madonna is going on tour again at around the same time I think. Plus, I just found out Enrique Iglesias is coming to Denver in February as well around the same time as the DWTS tour. Decisions decisions.
Ok, I just bought a regular ticket…4th row on the Orchestra left side. Crazy. What this show does to me. I just hope the weather behaves itself. lol
hahaha I’m with you, Vogue! Who thought I’d be shelling out so much money to see so many dancing shows these days. I honestly didn’t love the idea of buying VIP as I didn’t feel like I really needed to meet these guys or sit really close, but the friends I’m going with really wanted to so why not?
Here’s to hoping I like the rest of the cast 😉
loll yes, let’s just hope we like the rest of the cast. I totally hear ya and why you finally had to do it in the end.
And you know…I’m loving Mark’s new music which is another reason why I wanted to go. I hope he sings both Get My Name and Miss Incredible with a big dance production with them. That would be super cool to see.
And Tony, good luck buying tickets on your pay day. Keep us posted.
It would be fun to meet John in Vegas too.
I think he mentioned in an interview that he’ll be singing some songs on tour so that would be great. I think he also said that he’ll be playing shows for his music after the dwts show, so hopefully he’ll do something in Boston too.
Sometimes VIP is worth it. Derek sweated all over me one night. I found that to be quite all right. 🙂
I think the only way Mark would agree to this tour is if he got to sing. And that’s a smart move on his part.
And I hope he does a show after in Nashville – I may not go to the DWTS show, but I would go see Mark sing.
Yeah, Mark will sing on the tour – that’s a guarantee. It’s smart for both DWTS and Mark to allow that to happen. They WANT Mark to succeed – and other pros and even the celebs that come on board – it shines a very positive light on DWTS.
I will be going to one of the shows – either Milwaukee or Merrillville. Still disappointed that there’s not a show right in Chicago – it was so nice to just take the el down to the Chicago Theater to see Derek – not to mention that it’s a beautiful venue.
If Mark does a show at one of the Cleveland Blues houses…I”M THERE!! I’m fairly familiar with Downtown Cleveland and I bet I can talk my friends Rachel and Felecia into going WITH me 😉 OR if he does a show after the DWTS show at the Hard Rock Casino, which would be the SMART thing to do 😉
The thing is, the Hard Rock Rocksino is about 20 min away from downtown Cleveland…depending on traffic. I’m hoping this Sunday show will be like at 2 or 4pm in the afternoon and not at 8pm at night like the Move Live show was…..so if Mark just stayed at the Hard Rock Rocksino..rather than load up his stuff and drive 30 miles to downtown Cleveland….he’d be better off just to stay where he’s already at…to ME that makes sense. But I know he’s used to playing in Indie Blues clubs which there are several in Downtown Cleveland…but that’s kinda far away from where the DWTS Tour is playing that night.
UNLESS he plays at a Downtown Cleveland Venue on Saturday night…which would TOTALLY make sense 😉 I’ll DEFINITELY be there for that 🙂 Need to find out when & where though because I’ll book a hotel somewhere in the Cleveland area Saturday night.
Wow! I thought it was odd that the Minnesota show was selling their VIP tickets for 50 dollars higher than other shows on this tour. Now it appears all the VIP tickets for the Minnesota show are SOLD OUT! Minnesota fans must really love DWTS!!
For those interested, four new dates have been added to the schedule. See the first post for more.
I still don’t really get how Val and Emma can be in with all the BWAT dates they are committed to. Is it common for pros to not perform during the entire run of the tour? Maybe the BWAT shows are being put on hold because of the lawsuit.
DLT, they’ve been taken out of the BWAT shows recently. There are more changes too to the BWAT schedule if you want to check it out…and more coming.
Here is the BWAT schedule for how it looks right now. We are hoping for more information on it soon:

Thrilled that Emma, Sasha, Keo, and !KYM! will be there. Even looking forward to seeing Val.
VIP tickets for Tulsa. Woo woo!!
You all sound so excited! My car just died and we had to buy a new one and we are putting our son through college so an expensive ticket to a show isn’t in the cards for me. I will share one exciting thing though, I live in LA and have gotten to a few tapings. In fact, I took my foreign exchange students to see the show being taped and even though they weren’t familiar withe pros they loved watching it being filmed and THEN I SAW DEREK mingling with the audience…..I walked right up to him and said, “I love you Derek!” He smiled, and said thanks. I said, “can I hug you?” AND HE SMILED AND HUGGED ME! I will be 60 on my next birthday and I was as giddy as a schoolgirl. So I say it loud and proud. I love Derek!
So awesome. Thanks for sharing your story on Derek, Wanda!!
