I saw a recent interview with Mark, with Mario Lopez, where Mario asked him if he would go back to dwts and he said “I don’t know”. Didn’t sound to be looking forward to it… I think S22 was hard on him. But he’s happy, he gets to do other things now, like theather and focus on his music. I’m happy for him. I do miss him on the show though. But dwts didn’t seem to appreciate him enough.
You’re so right… It’s great to see him killing it and I hope that someday, he can finally be on the same level as Derek.
Maina & Ch, every word that you have written in your commentary is accurate. I and many others agree with your words. I say, Mark Ballas was one of the top dancers maybe the best and they(dwts)show judges did not show any appreciation for his outstanding art work in just dancing and in Ballroom dancing. Mark was the best or one of the best if honestly judging.. I am glad Mark is doing well without DWTS. I hope he will come back….. and a few others. They are the ones that make the show interesting and classy with great performances..

And who on earth would want him to go back to DWTS? Seems crazy to me. Is that about Mark….or his fans?
Well Heidi, I would definitely love to see him back next season even though it probably won’t happen. Believe me, it may not seem like it, but the show has not given him any credit that he deserves and has done some things for him not to win. I’m glad to see him doing other things and gets a lot of praise for it.
Exactly my point, CH. It’s all about YOU and not about what’s best for Mark.
I’m so happy that Mark & BC are getting this awesome opportunity with their music. I’d rather see both Derek and Mark doing something that will brighten their careers and lead to more greats offers. Sure, I wouldn’t be disappointed if either one had a dry spell and came back for one season, but only if the show didn’t carry-on with their manipulations like this past season. I didn’t like the way Derek & Marilou were treated, and I’d rather him be somewhere else enhancing his career. And this also refers to Mark’s last season on DWTS.
