Dancing With The Stars Odds and Ends For Friday, Nov. 18, 2011!
Just a couple of FYI’s on our Dancing With The Stars Pros today!! First, be sure to pick up the new People Magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive” issue. Derek Hough was considered as one of the candidates for 2011! Are we surprised? I think not with those “boy next door” good looks and those fabulous and sexy abs he’s been sporting. 
Stay tuned to Pure Derek Hough as I’m sure Heidi will have a new picture of Derek soon from the issue.
Also, Mark Ballas has been chosen to judge Miss America coming up. The new 2012 Miss America crowning will take place at the Theatre for the Performing Arts in Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on January 14, 2012. Mark is following the footsteps of Tony Dovolani who judged the contest last season. You can read more on the pageant here.

Oh, by the way, Maksim Chmerkovskiy is on People’s Sexiest Men list as well twice. I think once for just his chest. LOL
Where is he in the magazine, Hilary?? I didn’t see him. Of course, I did get kind of hung up on page 141…anyway, I only saw Derek, JR and a little pic of Mark.

I haven’t seen the magazine yet, but from reading comments it seems Maks made a list but with no pictures whereas Derek got a full page spread? Let’s see…list with no pictures or BIG picture…Hmmmm.
There is a picture of Maks on both the lists I posted links to above, but as I wrote before – I don’t know if those lists are in the magazine or only on the website.
Looks pretty good when you turn it right side up, too. Derek is just gorgeous from any angle. I am on my 3rd copy of the mag—first 2 “disappeared” from my desk. This one is under lock and key.
I think Maks must have made the internet version – I haven’t seen him in the magazine. Of course, I haven’t drooled….I mean read the whole thing yet.
For the ‘Sexy at any Age’, it’s just a headshot of the guys and it’s pretty small. I was quickly glancing at that section at the store and didn’t even see maks because there were like 50 faces on that page. I didn’t see the Sexy Chests category in the mag though. But I sort of stopped looking after I found Derek’s photo! LOL!
Wow, what an amazing picture of Derek & it looks like he was really upside down! I wonder how they got that shot? He is yummy beyond yummy, espcially with those jeans that are a tad low on his waist. Makes you just want to grab them and….oh, sorry, I got carried away!
DW: He IS upside down in the picture. He is batmanning in gravity boots.
