PureDWTS Season 28 Cast Rumors & Watchout: Reality Steve Says Hannah Brown is Definitely On This Season

Well Steve did already hint that she would probably be part of this season…and her name has been in the mix…but it appears we have confirmation from his latest post: Hannah’s gonna be on this season.

I’ve been saying for weeks in this column that I fully expect Hannah Brown to be part of the DWTS cast when it’s officially announced. Host Tom Bergeron said we should be expecting the cast announcement sometime next week. Not that it should come as any surprise, but I’m here to tell you that Hannah is absolutely gonna be on DWTS this year. That should surprise no one. She’s the most popular female contestant in the history of this franchise if we’re going off IG followers. She’s off one of the more successful seasons they’ve ever had, and lets be honest, it seems like Hannah and her personality are made for DWTS. I’m sure this will make Kaitlyn very happy that they finally cast a female lead (minus Trista who was in season 1 of DWTS). We all know how many they’ve passed over in recent seasons, that Hannah is kinda making a bit of history here. So anyway, expect her to be part of the cast when it’s announced sometime next week.

Ok, real quick, a clarification: I don’t know what exactly is going down on GMA next week.  I don’t know if it’s the pro announcement, the cast announcement, both, something else, whatever. All I know is that the pros were told that there would be some sort of DWTS-related GMA segment on Aug. 21. A lot of people seem to be assuming that it’s the cast announcement, but based on the intel I’ve received, I can’t guarantee we’re going to get confirmation next week on any of the celebs…

…all that said, I believe Steve (that should seriously be a campaign slogan). As I already said, his track record is peerless (nonsensical claims to the contrary from a reader of Cosmopolitan notwithstanding), and if he says she’s going to be on, I think it’s as good as confirmation from the show itself. And I think Hannah’s a good choice – she seems like she’s got a good head on her shoulders and likely will be a good dancer.  The question is – who are they gonna partner her with? My gut says Artem or Alan, but I think it’s equally possible that they give her to *eye roll* Val. Or do they throw a curve ball and put her with a new pro…? Thoughts?
