DWTS12, Week 8 – Adele, Dancing With The Stars “Greatest Results Show Performances”, & More On Tap
Get ready for another two hour Results Show tomorrow night. According to ABC Media, tomorrow night’s show is dedicated to the “Greatest Results Show Performances”. Not only that, but, Grammy Aawrd winning artist Adele will perform two songs. There is something special planned for the “Spotlight Segment” again as well. More in a take below. Be sure to read the link in full which outlines both tonight and tomorrow night’s shows. Who’s ready I say?
On TUESDAY, MAY 10 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET), two hours of “Dancing” get underway with the special, “Dancing with the Stars: Greatest Results Show Performances,” featuring the most extraordinary Results performance moments in the show’s history. Then, on “Dancing with the Stars the Results Show: Episode 1208A” (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET), another couple will be asked to leave the ballroom and this season’s semifinalists will be determined in what could be the most dramatic elimination so far. Also this week, Grammy Award-winning artist Adele will perform two songs, the classic ballad “Natural Woman,” with Cheryl Burke and Louis Van Amstel on the dance floor, and the enormously popular first single from her No. 1 bestselling album, “21.”
In this week’s “Spotlight Segment,” all eyes will be on Hefa Tuita (19) and his brothers, Solane (16) and Tu’iniua (12), as they perform to LMAFO’s Party Rock Anthem. The “Dancing with the Stars Spotlight” features talented performers whose lives have been changed forever by dance. Born in Hawaii and raised in Utah, all three boys have trained in hip hop, jazz and ballet throughout childhood thanks to their father, who worked three jobs to keep his sons in dance school. When their father passed away in 2008, the eldest brother began dancing professionally as a means to support his family and still continues to do so, working with such artists as Rich and Tone and Chris Brown.

I just wanted to point out, I believe in your cheesecake awards you complained about all the crap they put in the show that keeps it at 2 hours long. Have you noticed the past 3 weeks they’ve put crap before the results show too? As a new watcher of the show last season, its interesting enough, but my thoughts is that ABC has nothing else to fill the time slot as the show gets fewer contestants. They keep the filler in DWTS because its easier than trying to find another show to fill the space. Thats why this season they’re putting all these extra things before the results show. Just a thought. Also, I don’t know about anyone else, but I was actually insulted when they thought we needed a recap on Tuesday of the dances we had just watched on Monday.
Good points all, Laura. I will say, however, that I LOVED the filler last night – it was much better than the actual results show itself.
I haven’t been able to watch it yet (I don’t have tv, I rely on hulu) but I too am excited about the filler this week!
