Dancing With the Stars is set to welcome a new co-host on Monday night…and it’s definitely someone fans will know! E! News can exclusively reveal that Leah Remini will heading back to the ballroom to take over as Tom Bergeron’s co-host, while Erin Andrews takes a bit of a break from DWTS duties to cover the World Series as Fox’s MLB sideline reporter. (Andrews will return once the World Series is over.)

Still laughing at her kissing Peta on the lips during an interview at the S17 finale. She’s gold. I really do hope she pulls out something funny like she did last time.

I actually prefer the sportscaster vibe Erin brings. Quick thinking on her feet, etc.

I do not feel that Leah can match Tom. No one can! Tom’s humor is gentler and Leah’s is snarky. She talks too much and doesn’t let the couples talk. She is too busy trying to make jokes and looking for a reaction. Even those Extra interviews were just her throwing one liners. It is not about her, but the couples that are performing. I wish they would have asked Samantha Harris back. The position needs someone used to interviewing people and doing it with style and class.
I like Leah just fine, but I would love to see Maria Menounos co-host one day. I still remember her biting Tom’s ear after her vampire paso and his reaction was pure gold. Maria is funny but she is also a great interviewer.
Thank goodness for World Series baseball. I prefer Leah so much more than Erin. Erin is a bit too awkward for me. However – why wasn’t Alfonso recruited?! LOL…
Seeing Leah with Bindi is going to be very weird.
I agree Lucas, she’s gold. I like Erin ok, but, Leah is a total hoot.
I did not like Leah when she was competing on the show, but love her otherwise. Her interviews with extra at the finalies are always the funniest. And I really enjoyed her filling in last year for Erin. Cant wait to see her snark this week.
Love Leah, but I would also like to see Brooke back too one day…

Yes, Leah is a total hoot, but not sure if too much hoot mind get old. But, no one would know unless she was co-hosting for longer than filling in for Erin.

While I didn’t like her so much as a contestant on the show, I really liked her as a host last time. I’ll never forget her whacking Derek upside the head with the microphone and his perplexed and bemused reaction.
She had a real “mama will take care of you” attitude last time she co-hosted that I really liked.

One more time, Nooooooo! Humor at someone else’ expense is not acceptable. First rule of respect; Never ever slap someone in the face….I felt embarrassed for Tony. That kind of humor needs to taken a hike out the door.
Ugh. Why do they pick the most awful people to do the fill-in hosting? First, they had Alfonso and now, Leah Remini. She is horrible. Beating Derek with the mic was not funny and that was another instance in which Derek is a better person than me because if she was beating me with a mic, she would’ve been on the floor.
Heh. I though hitting Derek with the Mic was hilarious.
Didn’t she say something like “you have no idea what it’s like to get a 5, do you?!” to Derek, as well? That was pretty funny.
I’m with you, Fancy, I didn’t find it funny at all. I remember Derek saying later that it was starting to hurt. And Julianne look like she was about to come out of her seat when she kept going at him. It’s not my kind of humor, but I have found Leah to be funny when she’s not being physical about it.
If you looked carefully, while Leah was making a swinging motion, she was barely tapping Derek. Both Julianne and Derek were playing along. I didn’t like Leah at all as a contestant, but she was a very lively interviewer. What actually started that whole interaction was Leah complaining that someone said that Bethany had made a “mistake” when what happened was she stepped on her dress and slipped just a bit. I think that seeing Leah with Bindi is going to be absolutely hysterical.
I liked Leah last year. I liked her before she was on DWTS. I don’t think DWTS was her best choice in terms of being a contestant. I have followed her for years and I have found her to be kind, funny, and outspoken. I can’t wait to se her Monday night.

The funny & hilarious part of hitting Derek with the mic was that it made a loud sound like she was really pounding hard on him. LOL!!! Love the way he rolled right with it, too.
