I'm a nerd and proud of it. Two degrees in geology also means I love BEER. :-) I'm also a Derek lover - proud of that too. So don't scream at those of us on this site and call us a bunch of "biased Derek-lovers" - it's just ME. :-) It may sound like I hate DWTS at times, but really, I'm just a snarky nitpicker from way back. And I'm cynical and jaded too. But I do love DWTS. :-)

PureDWTS Season 21: Alfonso Ribeiro Does AMA Reddit, Talks About DWTS, All-Stars, & The Carlton Dance

Just a quick little piece of fluff on this Sunday evening šŸ™‚ A few days ago, Alfonso did a Reddit AMA (“ask me anything”) chat, and fielded questions from Redditers on everything from Fresh Prince, AFV, Tom Bergeron, his Pepsi commercial, and DWTS. A few interesting things he had to say about DWTS, and a couple adorable little bits about Heidi & I’s favorite Ribeiro, A.J.:

On the hardest part of DWTS:

The hardest part was in the 14 weeks on the show I only had 2 days off. It is incredibly brutal on your body especially if you didn’t come in in great shape.

On getting a 2nd chance at DWTS:

I would do an All-Star season of DWTS, but if I didn’t have Witney I would probably want Lindsey as they grew up together and dance very much the same. Plus, she was already part of team Witfonso.

 

On his Halloween costume:

I’m really liking the Ritz-Carlton idea, but I think I’m going to be a bear.

My two boys are going to be a lion and a tiger, I’m the bear and my wife will have a shirt that says “Oh My!”

 

On how often he gets asked to dance:

Every day I leave my house! The only time I don’t ever get asked to dance is at the house. Oh wait a minute… my son asks me to dance every day. Just not the Carlton.

Ultrasound sales specialist by day, semi-knowledgeable DWTS fan by night...with a smattering of hair & makeup enthusiast, occasional model, baker, and crazy cat lady peppered in to make things REALLY interesting ;-) I might pee my pants in happiness if Donnie Wahlberg ever does DWTS - or if they ever use "Sunglasses at Night" as a paso doble.

DWTS Professionals – Past and Present – Attend MAXIM’s 2015 Halloween Party

Is it just me, or is Val very lacking in imagination when it comes to Halloween costumes?? šŸ˜€  Love Peta and Maks’ costumes, although I think Maks has worn something similar before. Mark and BC’s costumes speak to their inner selves, I think – a bit bohemian, very artistic. Cheryl Burke was there too, sans costume, but she looks great. I give everyone an A except for Val and Cheryl. Come on dude. It’s Halloween.  Cheryl, at least I love the dress. šŸ˜‰

Thanks to DWTSGossip for the heads up on these – I’ve lost my touch these days. Vogue does the media. šŸ™‚
