Playing Astro-X rocket scientists and astrophysicists will be Cynthia Bailey (The Real Housewives of Atlanta), Robert Herjavec (Shark Tank), Kym Johnson (Dancing with the Stars), TV host Carrie Keagan, T’Keyah Crystal Keymah (In Living Color), and Baywatch stars Gena Lee Nolin and Alexandra Paul. Dancing with the Stars Season 21 THE FINALE Night Two – LIVE BLOG (Spoilers)

Who’s going to win!! Not too much longer till we find out. 🙂

Because it’s the finale, it’s really important you remember the rule below:

NOTE: DO NOT POST ONE LINER COMMENTS AND CONTINUALLY REFRESH THE PAGE!! It’s the finale – breaking the rules might get you temporarily banned. The traffic is too high for this. Please walk away from the computer for a few minutes after commenting so others have a chance without the site shutting down. Thx.

T-minus 30 minutes…

LOVED the opening number. Made me get in the Christmas spirit.

Alfonso is rooting for Bindi…and the staging in the Ballroom is hopeful. Don’t disappoint me DWTS.

Holy crap, this show is two hours long?? CRAP.

Kim and Hayes seem like eons ago, actually.  She has less rhythm than I remember. Music is live since the just screwed it up.

I still love you, Victor, you little ball of fun hips. 😀

Haha Tom Bergeron!!

Hayley makes a damn good Maryanne.

That “Carlos, yer gonna die, hahaha” from Alek KILLS me every time. 😀

I see two male pros that I don’t recognize, and one female earlier. Who are these people?

So, Victor redid his dance with the sombrero and it actually stuck this time. 🙂 But did he fall down? I turned away for one second. I was watching Bindi and Derek on All Access.

Andy Grammer singing “Right about now” – great job. Love that song.

Bwah – Gary made those outtakes. Then when his dance is starting him looking at Anna going “WHAT??”

LOVE THIS SONG “Xs and Os” I think it’s called?

Seems like Alexa and Mark’s Breaking Bad dance was danced with more confidence by Alexa this time around. I dug it.

Gary is the reason why little kids cry when they see Santa. 🙂 Loved that bit – Gary as Santa, Paula as Mrs Clause and Victor as an Elf. 🙂

Congrats to Mark Ballas and BC Jean! I think they have a hit on their hands. I’m seriously addicted to that song “Roses and Violets”.

Andy Grammer and Chaka Kahn?? Perfection.  And I love all the dancing going on on this finale – actual BALLROOM. Take notes Rob Wade – there is no reason the whole season can’t be like this.

Okay, the fusion.

First is Nick, who had a rough transition to Salsa and she didn’t really fuse the dances – they actually stopped right in the middle and switched styles.

But of course, Julianne is going to stand up and rave with OTT praise.  It’d give it a 28 or 29, but I imagine it will get a 30.

Lindsay: “Cuddle, cuddle, cuddle, let’s friken dance” LOL

Notice how Alek and Lindsay switched styles without stopping the dance? Pretty damn good. Better than Nick.

I suspect based on what Julianne just said, that they’re leveling the scores tonight, that whole “We have to remember this was 24 hours..”  Okay forget I said that, they just lowballed him. He actually danced better than Nick did.

Bindi makes me fucking cry in her package for a damn ChaCha AT!! This girl!! Unbelievable.

Nick actually has a very good singing voice. Like this song. Showing highlights from all three couples. Very nice.

THIRD PLACE – Alek Skarlatos. I think that 6 point deficit did him in.

And the winner is…

BINDI IRWIN!!!

I have to say, Bruno and Julianne lifted Bindi up…even Sharna and and Nick cheered for Bindi. And Bindi almost gives Tony a concussion with the Trophy.  I’m crying.

I'm a nerd and proud of it. Two degrees in geology also means I love BEER. :-) I'm also a Derek lover - proud of that too. So don't scream at those of us on this site and call us a bunch of "biased Derek-lovers" - it's just ME. :-) It may sound like I hate DWTS at times, but really, I'm just a snarky nitpicker from way back. Dancing with the Stars Season 21, Week 5 – LIVE BLOG

Switch Up Week!!  I’ll be very curious to see how they edit all the packages tonight, who gets pimped, who gets slammed (and if it’s a reflection of the pro or another agenda) and so on.

And if I hear that we “voted for the switch-up” one more time, I may scream. Such a lie. An easy to prove lie. Why they continue the sham, I don’t know.

T-minus 15 Minutes…

Damn, had my contractor still in my house 5 minutes after the show started, so I’m running behind.  Loved the opening number, wish we had more of them. 🙂

As a result, I missed most of Tamar.

Most of what Louis said in his rehearsal package is pretty much what I’ve always thought he thought about himself. 😉 Read more..

PureDWTS Season 21, Week 4 – Power Rankings

*looks around* Wow, Alfonso hosted DWTS and the world didn’t end. Right on! Seriously, though, I though the guy did a pretty damn good job – his pacing was good, he didn’t talk too much, and he kept things moving. I’m sure there are some that would disagree, but as for me? I’m just thankful that he stepped in for Tom and seemed to minimize any potential disruption that Tom’s absence caused. But the joke about joining the band? Played out, dude. Pun intended 😛

One rather strange observation about last night’s show? The running order – it struck me as kinda odd, and I wasn’t the only one. Seemed like they actually front-loaded the show with good dances, and relegated some head-scratchers to the end of the show. Seemed…backwards. I would have moved Andy, Paula, and Carlos to the first hour; and probably moved Hayes, Tamar, and Alek to the back. Not much else to add, just that it all seemed kinda out-of-order to me, given the quality of the dances.

Other noteworthy moments? Allison announcing her pregnancy – my god, that child is going to be gorgeous and talented. And it leaves the door open for Lindsay to remain a pro next season, which makes me happy 😀 And who doesn’t love Sasha channeling Bruno circa 1983, in one of his “I’m Still Standing” getups? Guess I’m just thankful that it wasn’t the bizarre black man-leotard thingie… 😎

Did @DancingABC accidentally tip their hand with regards to the switch-up? They tweeted out this eyebrow-raiser right before Alek performed – and it has since been deleted. Someone told me that the phone votes were saying “Thanks for voting for Alek & Sharna!” as well, but it didn’t do it for me. Just a senior moment, or someone inadvertently tweeting about next week’s pairings? You be the judge.

Maksim Chmerkovskiy To Be A Guest Judge Next Week On Dancing With The Stars

Special thanks to @IdolXFactor1 for this GMA recap of last night’s show, but, check out the end. They announce Maks Chmerkovskiy will be a guest judge next week on Dancing With The Stars. Oh boy, buckle up your seat belts…

PureDWTS Season 21 Week 4 Media And Interviews, The Couples Talk On Switch-Up Week Next

What a show last night!! From one dance to the other, I was mesmerized and in awe of how great each couple is and in different ways! Below are the scores which I pretty much agree with. Though I think the judges should have given Bindi and Derek all 10’s. But, wow, what a tight competition we have this season.

Bindi Irwin & Derek Hough 9-9-10 28
Tamar Braxton & Valentin Chmerkovskiy 9-9-9 27
Nick Carter & Sharna Burgess 9-9-9 27
Hayes Grier & Emma Slater 9-9-9 27
Carlos PenaVega & Witney Carson 9-8-8 25
Alek Skarlatos & Lindsay Arnold 8-8-8 24
Andy Grammer & Allison Holker 7-8-8 23
Alexa PenaVega & Mark Ballas – 7-7-7 21
Paula Deen & Louis van Amstel 6-6-6 19
Gary Busey & Anna Trebunskaya – 6-5-6 16 (Eliminated)

For recaps and interviews, keep scrolling down though you’ll need some tissues for a few of them. Note too how the couples talk on Switch Up Week. They find out today (Tuesday) who they are paired up with and what their dances will be.

ABC7:
I love how Gary says he’s not going home and that we’ll still feel he and Anna’s spirit dancing…

Dancing with the Stars Season 21, Week 4 – LIVE BLOG

Nice to be home alone to watch a show this season!! Looking forward to what kinda crap they will let fly tonight. And, also, sending all my best wishes and prayers to Tom Bergeron and his family.

T-minus 15 minutes!!

Great concept, but man, if anyone else had made that large of an error?? Wow. What did they do to Nick with his Jive? Curious to see the scores.

Okay, those scores are about right. Now…what happens with everyone else and is she in danger for next week?

Okay, I watched what Erin said three times about elimination and I still didn’t get her. WTF?? Read more..
