DWTS 16 Wannabes And Dreamers – Perez Hilton, Bobby Bones, Barbara Evans, Deena Cortese
Is this guy for real? Being he’s a total unknown, Miss Heidi and I think this guy might be just messing with us…or dreaming about the possibility of dancing on Dancing With The Stars. Not sure which, but we kind of doubt TPTB are this desperate?
Heidi: I think he’s yanking his followers’ chains, and that of anyone crazy enough to believe him. 🙂 Seriously, this dude is way less well known that the chick who was Miss Alabama that Brent Musburger has a crush on. Dude, please. I think you joke. I hope it’s a joke and not delusions of grandeur. 🙂
Vogue: And then there is Deena Cortese who Heidi reported about earlier in a previous posting. She’s been campaigning relentlessly to the point it won’t go away. She’s even giving interviews trying to secure a spot. Here is a take from a new interview with MTV. Watch out Mark Ballas! Deena has her sights on YOU! 😯
What advantages would you have in the competition?
I’m small, so they could, like, throw me all over the place, you know? I could do tricks, I feel.Jersey has their own lifestyle and type of dancing. We just have moves, and we have attitude, too, so I feel like I could put a little attitude into the classical stuff, and just show them what Jersey’s all about. I would bring life and excitement, and I’m bubbly. I think it would be different to have a meatball on set, you know?
Who would your ideal partner be and why?
I feel like me and Mark (Ballas) would probably be good, because he’s short, and he has, like, that Italian look. I can’t have someone that’s super tall.
Heidi: This girl has got to stop!! I can’t see legit rumors on my tweetdeck cuz of her (and her fans) continuous campaigning! Please, I beg you, STOP. Out of control. DWTS producers – you dudes better not reward begging. 🙂 As for Mark, his response was “I’m not THAT short!!” which made me LOL for real. 😉

Heidi: I dunno, TPTB might find this sort of train wreck attractive. 🙂 You know how they are. She’d be tweeting about the show constantly, of course no one doing a DWTS twitter search would see it because she’d misspell the hashtag. 🙂
Vogue: Last, but not least, PEREZ HILTON!! Last weekend, Perez made a video telling Dancing With The Stars to well …uuhhh, in nice words…. “to “stick it” since they turned him down to dance again. He even made a video about it which you can watch at this link. I think Perez just cut his own throat. If they were thinking of hiring him at some point in time, they won’t hire him for sure now. Also, what about his supposed insiders who have given him Dancing With The Stars rumors and scoops in the past? If I was them and after seeing the video, I’d never do so again.
Heidi: While I appreciate Perez’s new found sensitivity(ishness) – kuddos for trying – I still have to say that I don’t think he’s really a star. And I also think he’s not really got great sources any more. He almost always gets scooped by EVERYONE. Including us! But of everyone on this list, he’s the one I wouldn’t mind seeing – maybe we could see what the big deal is, why he has friends in H-wood. Tough luck on Derek though, dude. We all want him and we can’t have him. But I always knew you were hot for him. 😉 You showed it in much the same way as you’re currently showing your affection for DWTS. 😀
Well, at this point, the reportage is tellin me that TPTB are:
1. Losing our most beloved pros, and
2. Apparently seeking out the dregs of humanity for contestants.
From what I can see, the slide into oblivion is accelerating… 😛

Um, right. It’s not an escort service show dear, move along. However, she would have her behind handed to her and embarrass herself wholly if she were chosen to be on the show and try adding her special bunch of nothing. If that’s the case then, good luck to her.

Relax, people! Bobby is just kidding. They’re supposed to announce something big on Monday’s show and he’s just messing with people about what the announcement will be.
I would loveeee Bobby on the show. I listen to him every morning. I’ve been thinking for ages that he should go on the show. They had Mike Catherwood before so why not Bobby? Someone asked him on his show a few weeks ago if he was ever asked to go on the show and he said that he wasn’t but that his friend Andy Roddick was but he turned it down. Anyway, like Roni said, Bobby has a big announcement on Monday and some people started guessing that it was DWTS so he just started playing around with them. He’s just joking around. Apparently he saw this blog post though cause he was just tweeting about it lol.
Geez, when I commented previously about someone throwing us a bone…. I didn’t think that we would really get one… More like a Bobby Bonehead if you ask me.
Woa, BBS fan, no need to insult anyone. They just don’t listen to Bobby so they don’t know that he’s kidding. One more thing, Bobby co-hosted with Kelly Ripa during “men of radio week” and he has a show on ESPN radio with Andy Roddick besides his sindicated radio show. Not a huge star, but not a complete unknown either.
No to Bobby, yes to Deena and a big NO to Perez Hilton. Not a clue who Barbara is so cannot pass judgement there.
And only yes to Deena becuase she wants to dance with Mark. It might be funny to see the dynamic between them. Plus, she just might be good. If we cannot get Snooki for Mark then this is a good close second in terms of craziness.

While I’d rather have celebs on DWTS whom I recognize, I’ll take a wait and see approach. If TPTB can wrangle a few decent dancers who are also decent people, and if most of my favorite pros are back, I should be able to enjoy the show.

If I’m not mistaken I think that twitter acct for barb Evans is actually a spoof acct making fun of her because that is how she talks. KJ don’t feel bad, you’re not alone, I watch it too, one of my few reality shows that I consider one of my guilty pleasures.
What’s scary is when Bristol was on during her first season, she was good friends with someone from TeenMom and Bristol said she was trying to talk the girl into doing the show. That girl was blonde and the name eludes me at the moment.
If these people are the types they are going after or end up with, I’d prefer watching re-runs of other seasons !!!
