Interesting bit of news from Nielsen’s annual Top Ten list, just released this morning: “Dancing with the Stars” edged out “American Idol” as TV’s most viewed unscripted show last season. “NCIS” remained TV’s top draw overall.

Allison Holker and Stephen “tWitch” Boss Dance The Night Away After Getting Married
A huge congratulations to SYTYCD’s and periodic Dancing With The Stars performers Allison Holker and Stephen “tWitch” Boss! The two dance stars were married this week in at Nigel Lythgoe’s Villa San-Juliette Vineyard & Winery in Paso Robles, California. I can’t imagine what the dance floor must have been like afterwards, but, below is a hint from Allison’s instagram and some quotes from ET Online and Life & Style magazine. From all of us at PureDWTS, we wish them much much happiness and to dance forever!!
For their first dance as husband and wife, Boss and Holker boogied to Adele’s One & Only on an amber LED illuminated dance floor — which was a surprise from their managers, Nelson Diaz & Tony DiStefano of A-Team Entertainment/DMG — provided by Barker Décor Service.
…and performed a hip-hop routine to Justin Bieber’s “Somebody to Love” with Allison’s 5-year-old daughter, Weslie, who choreographed the number!

Be sure you head to Pure Derek Hough when you get a chance!! Miss Heidi has been working hard in her spare time making screencaps, videos, and more of Dancing With The Stars Season 17 Champs Derek Hough and Amber Riley. As you can see above, the “hot guy” caps are my fave. 😀
Thanks for a rare find from Linz, Pure Derek Hough is also featuring some BTS video of camera blocking. It features all of the dancers getting ready for the finale including some footage that what wasn’t featured on GMA.
Also, you can preview a glimpse into the new issue of Annex Man Magazine which is featuring a new photo shoot with Derek….and let’s just say, I’ve never seen Derek be so edgy. The creativity behind this shoot is very Lady Gaga/Madonna/Vampire like in some of the pics. Way cool and high fashion at it’s finest. More at this link if interested!!

PureDWTS New Valerie Harper UP Movie To Premiere In January, Health Update
Hey, for those interested, a new Valerie Harper movie called “The Town That Came A-Courtin'” will be premiering on the UP channel at 7:00pm on January 19th, 2014. If you’d like to read about it, see IMDB.com. You can also see a poster at this link.
Also, after Thanksgiving, People posted an interview with Tristan MacManus and Valerie Harper that was filmed after the finale of Dancing With The Stars. She gave an update on her health. I loved when she said, “What’s to complain about?” Note too that she’s planning to celebrate the holidays with her family and she’s not planning to look back, but, only looking forward. Below is more. She’s so amazing and so inspirational.
As she looks forward to celebrating the holidays with her family – something that she wasn’t sure she’d live to see – Harper is savoring every day, telling PEOPLE, “I’m not looking back. I’m only looking forward.”
