Gear up! The entertainment for next week’s Dancing With The Stars has been partially released by ABC!! According to the tweet below R & B artist, Ne-Yo will be performing on Tuesday night’s results show!!!
We are excited to announce that @NeYoCompound will be performing on #DWTS Results next Tuesday night!!!
In case you aren’t familiar with Ne-Yo, you can hear him sing his latest single “Let Me Love You” on The View below. Currently, his new album “R.E.D.” is #1 on the iTunes charts.

Tom Bergeron tells Access Hollywood that he loves the all star season of Dancing With The Stars. It’s been hard to see the contestants be eliminated being they are all his friends. Someone even went home with high scores, but, Tom says Dancing With The Stars has always been a “popularity contest” and it’s nothing new (so true). They also ask him how long he wants to host Dancing With The Stars which he answers with “until they have to drag him off kicking and screaming”. All shows will someday come to an end, but, until then, Tom is “just bankin’ it and having a ball.” Lots more below including Tom’s thoughts on his other long time gig on America’s Funniest Home Videos which is soon to air it’s 500th episode this upcoming Sunday.
Good thing Tom has no plans of leaving Dancing With The Stars. I can NOT even imagine the show without him, can you?
ETA1: Tom was on Good Day LA today. They show some early shots of Tom that are too fun. He was also on The Talk yesterday.

ABC confirmed the news to USA Today as well. Val is going to play a boxer and the episode is slated to air on December 10th. Good going Val!!!
ABC confirms to us that Val is taping an appearance today on the daytime drama.
Val plays a boxer and he is in scenes with Maurice Benard (who plays Sonny Corinthos) and Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis) and Sean Blakemore (Shawn Butler) .
It’s a bit of a role reversal for Val and Kelly Monaco, ABC tells us, as she is on hand today to serve as his acting coach. She is not in the scenes.

Isn’t this one of the sweetest takes of Carrie Ann Inaba?!! I tend to gripe on her judging at times, but, griping about her animal rescue work is a whole other story. Cooler yet, Carrie Ann is taking it a step up by starting her own animal foundation. Read this take from People.com….
Since she was a little girl, Carrie Ann Inaba has felt a closeness with animals. The Dancing with the Stars judge lived behind a wildlife preserve in Hawaii, and the environment gave her something priceless: respect for nature.
“It was always clear to me that I needed to give voice to those who couldn’t speak out for themselves,” Inaba, 44, tells PEOPLE. “To give them shelter through whatever storms they’re going through.”
Everything Inaba has pursued in her life since then, she says, has led to this very moment, and she is finally proud to announce that with the launch of The Carrie Ann Inaba Animal Project, she has achieved one of the things she has wanted her whole life.

Just a heads up for Mark Ballas Fans! He along with his mom Shirley will be guests on The Ricki Lake Show on November 9th. They will talk about how suicide has effected their family. Below is a teaser from Ricki Lake and thanks to MarkBallas.com for the heads up on this news. This will in no doubt to be a touching episode. Be sure to tune in.

How are you all today? Check out this news (rumor?) from E News. It mentions how Cheryl Burke will be taking a season off from Dancing With The Stars after this one to take a break and pursue other opportunities and could one of them be The Bachelorette as rumored in the past and now again? Or will it be another reality show she ventures on to? One ‘Bachelorette’ insider says they are not interested in her. Read more below…
“ABC has asked her for years to do the show, she is holding out for a big payday because she knows she would bring a lot to the show,” a source tells E! News. “She is taking a season off after this All Stars season to take a break and see about other opportunities.”
Another source tells us that the dancer isn’t in talks, but has met with ABC on several occasions to talk about her doing some sort of reality show. The Bachelorette has been mentioned in those conversations, but there are no talks going on right now.
So will we see Burke hanging up her dancing shoes in exchange for roses? According to a Bachelorette insider: not a chance.
“Never gonna happen! Never!” our rock-solid source laments, revealing that Burke has been the one “begging to do the show” and not the other way around.
Even though I’ve enjoyed Cheryl’s dancing and attitude much more this season, I don’t think a break would hurt. As for her doing The Bachelorette, I can’t see it, but, oh, how my Dad would probably love it. Be sure to let us know your thoughts in the comment section. Thanks Sandy for the heads up on this news today!
ETA1: Here is more from E News. They talked directly with Cheryl about the rumors of her doing The Bachelorette. It’s true as well as the fact she’s been seeking other TV show opportunities. However, as reported above, the producers of The Bachelorette are most likely going to pursue a “real” person for the role and not a celebrity. Thanks to Lori for the heads up.

Some things remind us of why we are all here and the political ads on Dancing With The Stars this past week, the pic above titled as the “All-Star Forefathers” by Dancing With The Stars Official Facebook, and the poem below by PureDWTS reader Lois were several of them.
THE BALLROOM SHUFFLE
The ballroom was shuffled, the deck was stacked
The dances were crazy mixed up, were attacked
The theme was fusion, a blending of two dances
Throwing cards in the air, taking many chances
Dance steps had to intertwine, into the other flow
We marveled as all the dancers aced them just so
Kelly and Val mixed Fox Trot, Cha-Cha with ease
Melissa and Tony mixed Tango, Cha-Cha to please
Emmitt and Cheryl gave the Rumba, Samba a whirl
Gilles, Peta gave Argentine Tango, Samba a twirl
A mixed up trio arrived to the Ballroom Shuffle dance
Two fellows dressed alike, only one will get the chance
Mark, chosen to dance Paso Doble, Tango with Shawn
All Derek could do was sit in the audience looking on
The Ballroom Shuffle experiment dazzled and amazed
The dancing cards shuffled, new dancing trails blazed
A swing dance marathon was danced to Do Your Thing
Who would be crowned Swing Dance Queen and King
The couples were tagged, they had to leave the floor
First to go were Kirstie and Max, were shown the door
Second to go, Gilles and Peta ended their swing dance
Apolo and Karina were tagged third, lost their chance
Fourth to be tagged, Emmitt, Cheryl’s time was done
Number Five, Shawn and Mark, had to leave the fun
It was down to two couples, who would get the score
Kelly and Val’s valiant try, number six, could go no more
Tony and Melissa’s endurance made them last to go
Winning the crown of the ballroom Swing Dance Show
Next week trios will dance together, not two but three
Kirstie and Max chose Tristan, what dance will we see
Kelly and Val chose Louis, three glide across the floor
Emmitt and Cheryl chose Kym, could not ask for more
Apolo and Karina chose Sasha from the dancing troupe
Melissa and Tony chose Henry, oh wow, what a group
Gilles and Peta chose Chelsie to help their dancing cause
Shawn and Derek chose Mark, to the ballroom’s applause
The deck was stacked, Ballroom Shuffle blazed the trail
Next Monday night the All-Stars will return without fail!

THE BALLROOM SHUFFLE PROVED A ROUSING SUCCESS!
NEXT WEEK THREE WILL DANCE, WE EXPECT NOTHING LESS!
Too fun, Lois! THANKS so much!!! And now between you, comments in other posts, and a tweet from reader Jimmboe Tuesday night has us wondering what your overall thoughts were on the “Dance Fusion”? Would you all like to see the Dance Fusion make a reappearance in the future on Dancing With The Stars? Lets get some numbers. Take our new Poll below and let us know what you think in comments too if interested….
I’m voting “No”. The Dance Fusion was ok for something different, but, I really like just watching the couples just dancing to one style of dance. I wouldn’t want to see the Dance Fusion become a seasonal thing.
