Who’s going to Win DWTS Season 21? New Poll and Discussion Post

Not only who’s going to win, but in what order are they going to finish?? You’ve seen the numbers going into Monday night, and you’ve seen the numerology/astrology. Now, it’s time to share who you think is going to take home the shiny disco ball.

I’m torn, as always, when it comes to picking a winner. EVERY metric that I usually use to decide who’s going to win a given season (and our record is pretty good here, I must say) is telling me that Bindi is going to win. But, by the same token, I can’t get past two things – she’s up against a Backstreet Boy and a National Guard vet/hero AND she has Derek for a partner. The latter is a problem because he’s won five times AND I have to wonder if his fans have gotten complacent. More often than not, this inner struggle I have to decide is when I’m least accurate because I tend to go with the more conservative approach (for me) and say that, despite everything telling me it’s true, that Derek’s partner won’t win. This season, I’m going to break that habit, go out on a limb, and say that Bindi is going to win this thing. Eeep. I hope I didn’t jinx it. I think Alek will be second, Nick third and Carlos fourth. I may revise this when I do the final numbers post of the season on Monday night. Read more..

I'm a nerd and proud of it. Two degrees in geology also means I love BEER. :-) I'm also a Derek lover - proud of that too. So don't scream at those of us on this site and call us a bunch of "biased Derek-lovers" - it's just ME. :-) It may sound like I hate DWTS at times, but really, I'm just a snarky nitpicker from way back. And I'm cynical and jaded too. But I do love DWTS. :-)

Question: What Are Your Top 20 – 25 Dances Of All Time On Dancing With The Stars? Can Be From Any Country!

Thanks for all of your fun answers in our recent PureDWTS discussion post on “Your Top Five Dancing With The Stars Couples Of All Time“! So, how about a new question: If you were to pick your all time Top 20-25 Dances on Dancing With The Stars, what would they be? Again, and in broadening it, your favorite dances can be from any country if you watch other versions. Also, if you can’t stop at 20 – 25, feel free to make your list bigger if you like. If picking 20 -25 is too much, feel free to make your list smaller. Also, these dances can be from couples, pro numbers, etc.. Thanks to John and Cidra for the idea for this post.

Sharna Burgess Knocks out Noah Galloway’s Tooth In Rehearsals For Dancing With The Stars

At first I thought this was some joke, but, it’s not. Sharna Burgess knocked out Noah Galloway’s tooth in rehearsals for Dancing With The Stars. I bet she feels so bad. Here is more from Access Hollywood.

The Iraq vet just lost a tooth, courtesy of his “Dancing with the Stars” pro partner Sharna Burgess’ foot!

In “Ouch!”-inducing “DWTS” rehearsal footage posted by TMZ, the ballroom couple is seen practicing a floor move which involves a kick from Sharna – and she accidentally smacks her foot across Noah’s face.

He leans over and coughs his tooth onto the floor.

Sharna took to Twitter to lament the dental damage.

“It’s true.. I knocked out his tooth. Devastated by the whole thing! As if my man @Noah_Galloway hasn’t been through enough! #DWTS,” she Tweeted on Monday.
